Thanks for your review but I personally love Mindvalley. I think when you get clear with what you are looking for in terms of knowledge, you actually enjoy learning. I believe to get anything in life you have to put the work in. Mindvalley has been transformative for me so far and there is not one day I don’t increase my knowledge of self. As long as your dreams and goals are noble this is a great platform to get transformed. I did some deep soul healing works that really transformed me at a deep level. I fell new, I fell restored and at peace. Again the experience is different for each person.

I have completed so far The Silva method and I have had a couple of small wins that mean a lot to me. I have used the Mental screen and mental video technique to get my 6 weeks old baby to sleep through the night in one day of practice. He went from being awake all night long to sleeping for 12 hours without waking up consistently every night. My second win was I had to made a very important decision about witch direction to give my life in term of going back to my job after mat leave of following my passion by going back to school. I was so confused and scared about making such a hard choice. And I got clear guidance after applying the mental video through a dream. And today I am living my passion. And this was the best decision ever. I’ve got so much to share but maybe another time

great review I have always been deeply drawn to humanity's greatest endeavors, eager to wield influence, unlock the keys to ultimate well-being, and provide safeguarding. My longing for acknowledgment stems not from vanity or extravagance but from a profound sense of mission and purpose. I am driven by an unquenchable desire to explore the depths of human knowledge, seeking insights accessible to only a privileged few. My ambition is to embody the wisdom our forebears fervently wished for us to achieve.

Even if original person, ( people in your case, although it's unknown whom exactly you are talking about) hypothetically would give you course for free (which wasn't a case even back then when the courses were running in California, physical place where you engage from a teacher directly)

You‘re SO right - Mindvalley became really extremely annoying…it started off coming across like some people who genuinely wanted to help others and bring across the best content they possibly could - but that changed quickly. I absolutely get those smug-Guru-vibes when I hear and see Vishen - running around in a purple suit with sunglasses on stage… it’s like he intended to make fun of himself. Only, he does not… he became the shallow, money focused TV Guru we know from movies.
This whole industry became VERY similar to cults in its ways, appearance and behavior.
Way too big, completely exaggerated promises, followed by guilt reversal, once you find you didn’t make it, followed by more advertising and promises to make you buy another course, a much bigger and more expensive one, so „you can’t miss your goal“ - if you pay us enough.
It’s really sad, as there are good and genuine people out there who really want to and can indeed help.

      @@BeingIntegrated …aka money.
Not sure everyone knows,,but Vishen even used his break-up as „content“ without realizing how much it revealed who he is - or became - as a person. Since then it he - sadly - didn’t improve.
One time he even was ranting on stage about how he would get rid of all writers for AI would be at least as good as any copy writer… it was heartbreaking.
While he - probably still till this day - sees himself as „innovative“, „efficient“ and “goal driven”, anyone else recognizes his growing pushiness, greed and ignorance.

I agree about Vishen. We all have faults and I believe his challenge is battling narcissism. It has softened a bit over the past year or so, but it can be uncomfortable to watch. Also, I had an experience where they refused to do the 100% no questions asked money back guarantee. They just refused to respond to my requests, lol. So I have zero trust with Vishen. That said, the teachers he hires to be on his platform are typically genuinely good, sincere individuals. I try to avoid MindValley but follow those teachers elsewhere when possible.

I really appreciate this review. I got a similar feeling when I checked out the mindvalley site a while back. It seemed to me like mindvalley was just appealing to my superficial self that 'wants things' in lieu of promoting growth. Its reassuring to know that this channel is willing to speak its truth and not promote something it doesn't wholeheartedly believe in; even when it may be financially beneficial to just fall in line with the mainstream personal development giants. @beingintegrated, Jude, you have been very true when you say that we will not be happy if we are chasing and feeding our ego. The ONLY way to happiness is in "Collective Good". All successful people never did so by chasing their personal dream or wealth accumulation, they were successful as they started their journey to serve humanity. Giving one dollar to an artist playing guitar in NYC gives immense pleasure so imagine what level of happiness you get when you devote your life and career for masses at large.

I bought their course Be Extraordinary only to realize the concepts he talks about are something most of us already know and follow like - be an original, how to pursue what you want to without worrying about the world and the likes(just stating the concepts here though they are labeled and packaged differently in the course). There are certain Alpha state meditations and the Silva method etc. but nothing that most of us didn't know. If there's anyone out there who has been meditating CONSISTENTLY for a while now, follow the right channels on YT educate yourself and implement the right content on self-empowering through' books and YT(free stuff there's so much good stuff out there) then you might feel MV course didn't offer anything new. So if you are already doing a lot of inner work on yourself, I don't think MV - Be Extraordinary program in particular could show you any 'aha' moment. But left to your discretion! Good luck to all those who are on the journey of being a better version of yourself, as we are in this together. Lots of positivity!

Wow you just saved me from making a big mistake. I actually was attracted to the Art of manifestation curriculum but your words on ego hit home.
One thing that they like to tell you to justify all the marketing and greed is "money is just a transfer of energy " therefore it's good. I can see Michael Douglas saying "greed is good" in my head. While I do agree that wanting abundance is not bad I do see a problem with false promises and capitalizing on vulnerable people looking to grow spiritually.
You are so right. I have been working on ego and doing shadow work and I think the manifesting program would contradict the work I've been doing. Thank you.

Some people I know say it’s black magic (when you use magic in a selfish or materialistic way). Also you can find all the manifestation stuff online for free.
Personally I use manifestation stuff but for the collective good. A sort of “may I be taken care of so I can help take care of others”.
There’s a reason that in Tibetan Buddhism the most foundational thing is cultivating compassion / loving-kindness. If you want to be happier, cultivating compassion is usually the most helpful thing.
The more we care about the collective good the more connected we feel to the world.

I signed up for it because it’s not a lot of money for me. If I get one thing out of it, it pays for itself. I don’t expect Mindvalley to be some magic I am already an awesome Manifestor. I found Regan to be inspirational. When I logged in I saw Lucid Dreaming. I have a long history of manifesting my own reality. I asked for the lottery numbers and an El like El Moraya came and gave me the numbers. I asked for an eagle feather and my husband said good luck you could be waiting for years, I took a few steps and picked up my feather. I started young using Shakti Gawain, Silva Mind Control at age 13-14. I was also doing light and sound meditation practices for hours per day and blew my third eye open. I’m not going to judge the motivations of Regan Hillyer. I have no qualms about her explaining to people that they can create their own reality. I don’t care how it’s promoted. Maybe some people can’t pull off what they promise but I know no can. I manifested a dream life at a young age. I live in the most beautiful town in the world. I own everything outright. I have a great husband who is amazing. Even Kate Beckinsale tried to get him. So did Cher, Barbara Streisand and others. He’s not a celebrity or in the business. Anyway you get the idea. I’m only saying this because if you feel like you would benefit from the classes I wouldn’t let this guys review determine you. I think Mindvalley while it’s obviously a business is encouraging people to open their mind and reeducate themselves for more than they were programmed to believe they are or could be.

Thank you for the second opinion and affirming my doubts. I think the selling point always narrow down to buying time, which the wealthy ultimately end up doing. So it's really a pursuant of something (worldly desires). Endless cycle of trading time for money and then buy time with money.

Thank you very much for sharing your ideas. I loved you mentioning the ideas about acceptance and connecting more to your true self. All these manifesting ideas might be really inspiring and energizing, yet they might be quite disappointig and depressing as well when people's lives don't change and that happens quite often. Because these ideas target the wrong end, we all should start from inside.)) Thanks for your review!

I agree with everything: Wilber, Vishen, manifestation, making big promises about transformation. I love Mindvalley people (the conference just ended literally under my balcony), but… I'm allergic to Vishen and Regan Hillyer. No, you can't have everything you want, even if you're a "great manifestor." This is not how reality works. But… isn't it a great pitch? So nourishing for the inner narcissist. Accepting that suffering is part of life, not something you control is the essence of growing up. Good luck to everyone on the path to embrace it.

I have read about 40 of the comments before writing my own. I read many who say Thank you for this review and how they saved money because of this review. I almost want to puke. In all transparency I have just signed up less than 3 days ago and cannot give an in-depth review of a single course. What I can say is I have spent thousands of dollars with other courses that will give me one idea that literally pays for the course. This membership is less than $300 for a year with more content than I have seen before. It is dirt cheep and in the first day of using a program it paid for itself with a small change that I can now use every day for the rest of my life. I can only say those people who are afraid to spend $300 in todays world will never find what they are looking for and probably don't even finish the book they get for free with Amazon Kindle but will complain or look for a better deal out there. Good luck with your decision. You can't lose for $300.

I like your unbiased review. I’m a MV subscriber and I also do find some of their content to be more towards “pleasure”, some of the testimonies of the teachers are abt their financial success, finding love in a miraculous way etc - as testimony to sell the idea that it works. Real healing, finding focus and mindfulness should not be tarnished by worldly desires.. however, some courses use that desire for the download and click stats. MV is not entirely bad… but you have to be discerning to find what works for your real, positive development. Btw, I have slight bias with Vishen’s narration of SilvaMethod.. his voice is not calm, high pitch, and i couldnt get to concentrate :(

Yes every person is different. And you should first know yourself better. Do psychoteraphy. Analyze what you want, what you don't want, where do you want to go, and what you want to do, change what you eat, drink if its unhealthy, do sports that you like. You have to search. There are many free videos, many people teaching what you should eat, drink, how you should exercise, but you have to feel that its alright for you. Also not every technique is for you. There are many visualization techniques, and you should the one you like. Honestly, visualization should be made individually for you. And who can make it better, then you - yourself, because you know yourself best, you know what you like, what you dont like. I made up visualization for myself, imagining sunlight, that im in golden sunlight. And in the past, i connected with this technique. Also i walked a lot, i was not eating much, and sometimes, i was just in my bed, imagining sunlight, and being in it. In my mind i forgiven everyone, and i lost hope to escape light, that good feeling. I had a lot of energy. It was good times. And i should also say, that books, can teach you more, then those courses. You can borrow them from library for free. Read them. There are many books, and many techniques written. It if its for you, take it. If not just look for another one. You can visualize anything you want. Roots coming from your body to earth. Sunlight in your body. Wind that makes you feel freedom. Water that refreshes you. Or you can listen to fireplace. Enjoy the sound of fire. Emotionaly connect with that sound. You can make visualization out of colors. But first you need to know what you like. I remember childhood when i liked blue sky. It was so clear and it made me feel amazing, free, refreshed, rejuvenated. Remember what you like that is whats important. Raise questions, make questions what you like... and answer them. Write them down, or speak to microphone. Know yourself. No expensive courses will make you feel better, if you dont know what you want. Some people find techniques in those courses that they like. But some dont. I dont know, folow your intuition.

If I left the ad or website I would lose the super low price gifted to me because I watched the whole 32 minute ad and I would never get this opportunity again.
In other words "for you, today only".

Hi, thanks for your review. It seems very honest. I was thinking about to get the membership but I was doubding because by one side the promotion that they do is very engaging as many other programs offering the same things, but at the same I see that there are many books, coaches on TH-cam, and programs out there teaching the low of attraction and manifestation, but having read and watch many things about this I am agree with you because many of these teachings are focusing just in a person as an individual without thinking or care about other people's life, just care or focusing on your own results so it's a very egocentric teaching where you are working just to get your own things and results but they do not lead you to a real change as a human being where you can see inside of yourself, make a reflection about your life and the connection with our spiritual part that is so important.

I remember visiting a so called "anxiety specialist". He had tonnes of good reviews and all seemed very positive. He claimed he could get rid of my anxiety in around 1 month! Part of me didn't believe it but i wanted to believe there was hope as i felt I'd tried everything else. I also knew that if i wasn't successful, in that industry it is so easy to hold the other person accountable and say you didn't follow the programme correctly. Let me tell you i was desperate and made sure i damn followed that programme. 3 months had past and I was no better. He then claimed the intention was never to heal overnight and that it was a process! These people can literally say anything and I lost faith in people as a whole in life after this experience.

    @htgar8201 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Thanks. Yeah, I find the 'sales' pitch exactly what you said: disingenuous.
His quantum jumping thing seems to touch on some things that exist but my understanding is that because we are human and our minds are not clear, we experience many profound things: outer body experience, we get glimpses of the future (and as you do, it is with 100% certainty you know this will happen as if it is already in front of you), or you know what a person is thinking or feeling at points. You step back into a past life or lives. But we are so limited. These experiences are impermanent and we use the extremely limiting and culturally bias language we speak (e.g. English is often criticised for its dichotomous structure: good/bad, light/dark, etc... to try to describe things but this fails because these experiences are not fixed. Each person with their own bias tries to convey: they went to heaven or this Mindvalley multiverse but these are like Plato's ideas of perfection: each table we see is but an aspect of the perfect ideal of a table. How can you remove ego, so many hopes, desires, expectations, fears to see clearly? So many spiritual teachings are a reflection distorted by the cultural values of that society to explain the profound. Still, it is worthy to try. So, as long as one understands, each (bar the complete charlatans) offers (we hope) the best they can but likely incomplete teaching, then expectations can be more realistic.
The other point you touched on: short-term dopamine fix (so impermanent and feeds the land of hungry ghosts) ~ the gimmick, but ultimately unsatisfactory because as we know ghosts are hungry and never satisfied (to borrow Buddhist terminology). Not great for those really suffering and in need and so much worse than a bandaid solution because it creates its own problem: addiction to the dopamine highs glimpses of awareness can give, chasing this instead of dealing with the core of your life.

I agree with your comments on acceptance, and ego boosting, when I help people with manifestation I make it clear you need to let go of any attachment to outcomes and be happy, content, peaceful with all that you have already. This is so as not to fall into the trap of desire as this will actually create resistance and block any manifesting anyway. Once you are in ease and flow though and you believe and have faith AND you do the actions towards your intentions you can get to where you want to be. Unfortunately many people can't distinguish between the soul's purpose versus ego desire, and that's where a good spiritual guide can help. Really digging into why you want that success, car, money, house etc to uncover your true motivations. As you say most people are constantly seeking external validation rather than inner fulfilment

Great review. The whole manifestation 'cult' is actually part of the 'new thought movement' which is technically a religious ideology. These simplistic salesy tempting courses suck in a lot of people who are not well versed in the arena of authentic theurgical/ magickal knowledge and yes the way manifestation is promoted, it absolutely is magickal or witchcraft practice ( nothing wrong in that necessarily but its irresponsible for people to dive into it without actually understanding what they are doing)

I don't even know what spiritual video I was watching and all of a sudden, all commercials youtube is throwing at me are Vishen and associates steamrolling all over the place with their aggressive marketing and 33 minute commercials. While Mindvalley itself is a good concept, albeit an expensive one, the marketing is just so ridiculously over the top that I complained to youtube and Vishen personally and told them to back off. It's just too much when you can't even watch any other video without sitting through a 33 minute brainwashing commercial first. Mindvalley and youtube will lose potentially interested people by shoving this content down their throats relentlessly.

Great review. I don't like to learn things for myself before paying hundreds of thousands to learn. That's one thing that low-key turns me off from a program as well, if it's unreasonably expensive. Their's isn't too bad at all if you could afford it and don't mind.
What manifestation programs or "gurus" DO you highly recommend?

    • @BeingIntegrated
      @BeingIntegrated  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

No one I really recommend but you can learn from a lot of different sources. It’s actually a kind of simple formula, you just imagine what you want, and really try to feel it. It’s all about feeling into the reality of what it will feel like to achieve the thing.
Then you work through any blocks or limiting beliefs so you can feel deserving of it.
Then you take action towards the thing. Feel into what kind of action would make it more possible, will get you closer, will make it more likely.
The one person I’ll mention maybe worth looking into is Greg Braden, he’s the guy I originally learned this stuff from almost 20 years ago. But even just search manifestation meditations on TH-cam or insight timer and I’m sure you’ll find a lot.
