The cartoon in general because I’m pretty sure that the dead cultist in the cell with Percy in the flashback of the first time they meet is modeled after Talesin with the color mohawk. Kinda meta morbid.
All of her lines in just about anything she’s in are delivered so perfectly I would imagine, at the very least, since I’ve only seen her in a few things
It also didn't have any names on the barrrel and gets destroyed at the end. I think they wanted to signal that those parts ended up not being important.
@@frostreaper1607Tal also hated that he never got to make another gun and had to use Ripley's. I imagine that's something they get to fix in the show.
I appreciate that you, TP Burrow, took the time to edit this video between the 1st campaign and from the series. This moment for me will always be the best moment from Vox Machina.
The fact that Taliesin himself said that if their contributions weren't good enough he wanted to let Percy die here is the reason why when he didn't come back right away in the show I was sobbing and so so scared 😭😭 I really thought they were rewriting the story 💔
Thank you guys so much for making things like these! I stumbled upon Critical Roll through random animations done by fans on TH-cam that I found hilarious but never picked up on critical roll itself. Then bored out of my mind I found and watched Vox Machina because I recognized Ashley Johnson from the Last of Us and loved it! I HAD NO IDEA that it was based off critical roll. I’ve been catching up on what I can through clips and abridged versions of the campaigns and have loved the second series even more! It’s super long so I only get through bits at a time but it’s been wonderful to have in the background. So again thanks for making these! Really appreciate it!
Really appreciate them too! I remember some of my friends from my previous DnD group being obsessed with Critical Roll back in the day, though I didn't get the chance to get into it myself either. Just got into Legend of Vox Machina out of curiosity, and now I'm hooked (Grog is one of my new favorite characters now)! XD
I’ve only seen the animated show, this part was CRAZY!!! I had no clue he died and I was in mourning until this moment. Thank you for editing these it’s so fun to watch the comparison!
thank you for continuing to make these videos, it’s the best!! i see reactors on youtube getting so excited while watching the show, looking forward to seeing the table to screen moments when they finish. thank you for doing the gods’ work 🙏
I'm so happy this actually happened in the campaign. A part of me was actually worried the show just decided to bring him back. That just makes it better because now, ALL BETS ARE OFF.
Amazing video..! I loved it. You managed to bring all the pieces of a puzzle from many different avenues and place them perfectly together into a very meaningful, truthful picture. Hell yes..!
He was waiting to hear what they offered for the ritual. He had his backup character ready but he wanted to hear what the team had to say before making the choice.
Yeah he was behind the scenes but he also had decided that if they didn't convince him he was going to let Percy stay dead no matter what the dice said. It was intense 😭
Season 3 of TLOVM was pretty good. If someone is just watching the show, I'd even say it was a great season. Unfortunately I've watched all of C1 and I have to say I really don't like how they changed a bunch of things. I understand having to cut down the campaign that has 400+ hours of content, but season 3 feels so scattered that I really would have preferred to just watch the campaign arc instead.
Having Vex and Percy have sex and then having Percy be smitten with her completely changes the dynamic of this scene for the worse. It's better if Vex has feelings for him that she masks under "I'm Vex and I'm flirty haha" and she only realizes it once he's gone and she desperately begs him to come back so she can have *some* sort of answer. It was *genuinely* left unsaid in the stream- Percy had no idea and Vex couldn't bring herself to admit it, not "Percy knows and and feels the same way and Vex is terrified of commitment." idk why they made the twins so closed-off this season- being hopeless romantics is integral to their characterizations.
The fact that Laura rolled a 20 is still insane to me
Travis: *zeros in on the die, then gestures for Matt to lean over and confirm it*
Matt: "I trust you."
I love this group so much.
I'm convinced, because of his immortality, Talesin uses this game to experience death and his own funeral.

"mhmm, mhmm cool. I need a drink" is one of my favorite line reads in the tv series.
I love Kima😂 It was such a serious moment and then that line made me cackle. I love Stephanie Beatriz so much
All of her lines in just about anything she’s in are delivered so perfectly
I would imagine, at the very least, since I’ve only seen her in a few things
"just a few more dragons and i'll take a break"
Yeah that's totally reassuring, Sir De Rollo. Clearly nothing to worry about 😅
"Can you sing? can youu sing like you did for that little boy? Percy joined you then." My heart...
The animated series making Animus a modified flintlock pistol instead of Ripley's version of The List was an inspired choice.
It also didn't have any names on the barrrel and gets destroyed at the end. I think they wanted to signal that those parts ended up not being important.

I wish I could say it was so Ripley couldn't effect the world any more, but she made a /lot/ of guns

I didn't remember quite how close these two scenes were, thanks for putitng this together

16:56 the look on everyone’s faces though

I love the animated show I do but that scene was nothing compared to the raw emotion of the live stream! One of my favorite scenes 😭
The acting in this campaign is just stellar ❤❤❤
This made me giddy.
The show doesn't have that friendship between Percy and Kiki
I can only think it's an intellectual friendship. They appreciate and support each other, but not a hugging style.
I know it makes me sad 🥺
Also. Travis jumping in to bar everyone from the die and telling Matt to come over is a practiced move. There is no way he wasn't doing that before
I. Fully forgot this part of the game happened.
Imagine if they failed the dice throws
I mean... yeah, but let's not discuss this option XD
Without any spoilers.... it's happened before 💔😭
They're all look so sad😢 thats break my heart
I absolutely fucking love them ❤
after that dang KSI song I cant read your thumbnail without it triggering it in my brain lmfao
Was he just waiting offset to come back for however long this campaign was?
Just from the time he died to when he was resurrected
He was waiting to hear what they offered for the ritual. He had his backup character ready but he wanted to hear what the team had to say before making the choice.
Yeah he was behind the scenes but he also had decided that if they didn't convince him he was going to let Percy stay dead no matter what the dice said. It was intense 😭
I love that TH-cam thinks this is World of Warcraft :)
What episode in critical role?
Episode 69
@technology_support8297 nice

God dam intense way to much 😢 but brilliant

I dunno Vex seemed awfully open with her feelings this season. Like she closed him off and immediately regretted it lol
I always say that the "RPG dice gods" always cooperate when the scene is really good. That natural 20 from Laura was heartwarming and wonderful! 💙🤍
That Nat 20 was a blessing from RN-Jesus
