Great recreation animation! But I die inside each time someone comments about this being cel-shaded because of the outlines. Edit: Well since this got pinned, I'll throw out some information: Cel-shading refers to the lighting/shadows on objects. If it's a gradient, that's normal shading. If it's broken up into 2-3 solid colors (think anime), that's cel-shading/toon shading. And NO, Borderlands is NOT cel-shaded. It uses outlining and comic/painted textures for it's art style, but it uses normal, gradient lighting/shading.
In the original animation, he turned into a stock soldier ragdoll and fell, here since this is already more realistic, he was made into that model of an even more realistic soldier
I know it’s a small detail but I love the inclusion of the spy looking down repeatedly at 0:43 from the og video. I recall someone reanimated the original in 2D and didn’t include that detail so seeing you include it here is nice.
This may actually be the best remake of Amazing Interrogation ever. The movements are so on point and the character outlines make it feel closer to the original cartoon than other remakes I've seen. Stellar job!
Man, animations like these the reason Im starting to enjoy 3D animations. I used to hate this stuff, but I love the new quality people are animating with, good work overall dude
This is really good! The only thing i think would have made it better is if you had somebody draw and animate the soldier ragdolling, so as to parallel the original animation! 😂
Great recreation animation!

Its just contour~
At least it didn’t copy the art style from Disney’s Wish
I hate how TH-cam unpins edited comments
@@Mariofanaticanimations I don't think here is the place to be complaining about Wish's art direction
@@comedicidiot Oh so that's what happened lol. Appreciate the re-pin ♥💯
I love how the Soldier turns more realistic when he dies.
Ye

@@Helpertf2 I know, that's why I pointed it out lol.
@@Kirbman yeah, and I specified it for whoever finds this and didn't see the original (somehow)
Getting longer is "more realistic"?... Guess I'm a cartoon character because I'm a darn dwarf
Every frame here is so accurate according to original. A true 3D remake of animation
I love how every animator has their own version of the ragdoll gag
I like that the fact engineer having 11 PHDs took that a little to serious when spy said you are dumb to him
I mean wouldn't you?
The cell shading, the shot for shot keyposing and the lowered framerate. It's *beautiful.*
Wish this was the shading of TF2
@@efeloteishe4675 isn't there like a mod for that?
LOVE the animation style here, perfect remake.

YOUR IN A WORLD OF D U T Y ! HAHAHAHAHAAHA!
*stab*
what
Yo how the HELL did you nail the movement so hard and exactly ? That is astounding accurate
Accuracy is easy when you painstakingly recreate every frame of the original by having them side-by-side at all times

The person who will make the last "the amazing interrogation" remake likely hasn't been born yet
True remake of original... Even included toon shading... I love it
This is amazing! You captured the energy of the original animation PERFECTLY.
I also love the detail of the small outlines to make it look more 2d :D
I know it’s a small detail but I love the inclusion of the spy looking down repeatedly at 0:43 from the og video. I recall someone reanimated the original in 2D and didn’t include that detail so seeing you include it here is nice.
I really do like the fact that everytime they move, its like the actual animation. And the high five seen was AMAZING!
YES I WANNA SEE MORE PEOPLE PLAY AROUND WITH RENDERING AND ART STYLE AESTHETICS, MORE CEL SHADING PLEASE
How tf do you not have more views this shit is SO good. I also love how this animation is literally shot for shot remade XD Keep this shit up brus!
This is spot on! I love how this is a 100% reaction of the original animation. Can’t wait to see what other animations you have planned.
Superb recreation. I really like how you adapted the style and kept the frames consistent with the original.
This may actually be the best remake of Amazing Interrogation ever. The movements are so on point and the character outlines make it feel closer to the original cartoon than other remakes I've seen. Stellar job!

"That's the spirits lad!"
But views are this low?
BY THE POWER OF ALGORITHM, I summon the TF2 fanbase to notice this fine work!
Honestly. This deserves so much more its that well recreated...
It’s one of the best Reanimation of The Amazing Interpretation! It’s choppy and they have exactly the same moves as the original. Love it!
Man, animations like these the reason Im starting to enjoy 3D animations. I used to hate this stuff, but I love the new quality people are animating with, good work overall dude
such a great classic. you have done a fantastik job! :D
Big fan of the cell shading in this, nice!
This is incredibly well done. Fantastic job kamerade! Love the outline detail and frame style.
Love the SpiderVerse style feel to it, it looks like a video game mixed with a comic book movie come to life
This is actually really good! Great job man!
I love your sense of humor!
Beautiful artstyle. Keep it cause that will distinguish ya just like the advanced faces that another animator had forgot his name.
This deserves a million views by now
Never get tired of these remakes. This is gold
Bro the TF2 art style turned into Guilty Gear and I love it
Big fan of the TF2 Piemation videos, and this was a great SFM remake. Would like to see you tackle more of his animations in the future
no way it has only 11k views. Keep up the good work dude, this animation is absolutely incredible!
This is perfect It's animated in a way that look just like the original
Amazing job on this! You just earned a subscriber!
Love the Heavy is Dead reference
my dude this art direction is beautiful keep it up👍
Howdy Hi, this made me smile, that is good job!
Keep up good jobs!
1:01 Demoman: I did it like this!
The cell shading man
This is a cool interpretation, the _only_ parts that move being what moved in the original
Genuinely the best remake of this I’ve seen yet.
I can't express how much I loved every frame of this
Oh, I love this! Such a faithful recreation of the original, fitted so well in 3D.
I need a side by side comparison because this feels like an exact animation with proper body restrictions, no stretching of the models.
Love how i can tell its pie that made the original even in this style
Love the shell shaded style, nice job mate
this is a wonderfully made recreation
This is so good, you earned my sub. I love the animation style especially, please keep it up
Really good recreation!
the best remake Ive seen
It's a perfect mix of the actual tf2 models and the 2d look. And then the animation looks overexadurated like the Spider verse Movies. LOVE IT ❤
I love the animation, in which it has the 3d models of tf2, but it has the cartoonist lines around the edges of the models.
This is really good! The only thing i think would have made it better is if you had somebody draw and animate the soldier ragdolling, so as to parallel the original animation! 😂
Perfect SFM recreation !
this is more accurate and smooth than the original one
This is actually really great i love it
Nicely done!
Looks amazing, only nitpick is that when the spy gets slapped so wish there was a bit more of a reaction. But it’s a small nitpick.
A new sfm in 2024!?!
Im going to sub
The artstyle reminded me of Borderlands💀
Love the Spiderverse stylized animation!
soldier turning into the day of defeat american soldier is hilarious
commenting so you get some engagement points. This is Good
Theres outlines as well,nice
0:47 Medic: I am Dead
0:52 Spy: Oh Pleas Kill Me
1:00 Heavy I am Dead
Médic ¡¡The Heavy Is Dead!!
1:02 Soldier: ¡¡Ah!! the heavy is Dead
Love how it’s 3D, but it’s still very cartoonish and rubber hose.
It's rare to see cell shading in TF2 animations
This means that 1 Spy + 1 Spy = 1 Engineer
Ah yes, the 3d outline
How does this perfectly replicate Piemation's animation style
*This outline thing is wierd but yeah, Amazing animation btw, exactly like the original*
1:51 I knew there was something familiar about this.
thats just beautiful
I like this Self Shading.
Wait, this actually rocks, what the hell?
SO UNDERRATED
The art style reminds me of the telltale games
How did you outline your model
(I need to know how to make such good animation like this)
SFM has outlines in the progressive refinement menu under ambient occlusion
@@comedicidiot thanks love your work, hope you have a wonderful day
last night i had a dream where i played spy and did well, never could happen irl XD

Now **that** is a good quality :]
It's crazy soldier have big hands
A tiny bit static on the facial animation, but otherwise a solid piece of work.
All I gotta say Is....
Heavy likes sandwiches
I like the telltales the walking dead look to it
This is amazing
Why does this look like a TT game? Looks good
This will so fix tf2 😊
This will become a TF2 classic, I know Piemations will comment.
