That running sequence with the soldier laughing at near the end was honestly done almost perfectly! I legit was more terrified of his laugh at the end before being stabbed than even in the 2d version
There's an uncanniness to the use of both ragdoll physics and refined animations in the top part, like a job half finished but the part that isn't is actually an artistic expression and a nostalgic callback. Subscribed!

The fact that you mimicked the eyes of Piemations cartoony style, the animation style of janky Gmod movements with fluid animation which I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW YOU DID (but I don't even know how to animate to begin with but that's besides the point) and the soldier falling over becoming 2D mirroring the original where he becomes a Gmod rag doll- It's perfect. This is bloody god damn piss magic stuff right here. We've had stop motion, moving ragdolls, SFM, Blender and animation tools in Gmod. But after over a decade of TF2 content you make yet another new animation style that's unique. Moving individual limbs yet their lose ones fits well with their intended pose while still being random. But the most insane part is how their damn expressions, poses and timing is one to one with the original. Nothing off or flawed from the creator's own method. This is a perfect recreation in another format. The final cherry was soldier turning into piemation 2D art. A complete 180 on the original. Finally after a year, I finally find another video deserving of going into favorites.
This animation is genuinely one of the best Gmod animations I've ever seen. It literally surpasses even some of the best SFMs in the attention to detail and fluidity
Your animation style is so unique, it just adds to the sillinesses, not too mention the facial movements are spot on, even the eyes are stylized, this is perfection.

If I had to guess how you pulled this off, I'd think you only animated certain bones and body parts and left some joints and such to be ragdolled. looks absolutely fantastic, hopefully this is a trendsetter because I wanna see more of this!!
One thing that really impressed me about this animation is the lighting, it feels more dynamic than the usual found in maps on Source Engine Games, more fresh. It adds a certain "pop" that makes this animation stand out. Great work.
the only way i can describe this is GmodPunk. the ragdollness of old Gmod but the expert fine controls of modern manipulation and animation. the choreography is amazing and the jokes well executed. seriously, well done man.

I like the little detail in this remake. In the OG animation Soldier's corpse was 3D and not 2D. But in this remake Soldier's corpse is 2D.
