06:30 I am not so sure about this because in the instructions on their website it says you MUST attach the following IF you are in the US: (1) A copy of any document issued to you by USCIS showing your present status, if any, in the United States; and
(2) An explanation or other evidence showing the circumstances that warrant issuance of an Advance Parole Document; or
(3) If you are an applicant for adjustment of status, a copy of a USCIS receipt as evidence that you filed the adjustment application; or
(4) If you are traveling to Canada to apply for an immigrant visa, a copy of the U.S. consular appointment letter; or
Explanation or I-485 receipt (unless sending with I-485 at the same time)

We had filed this form on August 5, 2022 and we’ve received two letters from USCIS: 1st one saying they’ve received our form and the second one saying that we don’t have to come to give biometrics because they’ll use the ones already have on file.
We really need to go overseas ASAP for our parents health. Can we go ahead and leave?
Hi Kseniya, if i don't know the departure date and the expected length of trip (just need an advance parole in case of family emergency) could i just put "TBD" (to be determined) and write an explanation Part 4 item 1.a. "To visit family in (name of country) in case of emergency" ? does it really matter?

I want to know if they will still accept that edition of the form? thank you.
I was wondering the ask myself but in the edition date on the uscis website, they mentioned that they will accept the 2019 edition as well. so, my guess is that its ok. 🤨🤔

In the case of an advance parole living outside of the US, does the sponsor info goes on the application or if it strictly the parole? I am under the impression the 131 is strictly for the parole and the I134 is for sponsor. Is that correct?

In my adjustment of status application, there are a few forms that require almost the same set of supporting documents, Do I need to make copies of every supporting document (say birth certificate) for each form requiring it? or just a single copy of the birth cert in my application packet will suffice for all form requiring it? I believe a single copy is okay. I’ve seen people do it both ways and they were fine

Hi K, I have an important question and I don't see a space for it in the i-131 form. My current address in the US cannot receive mail (post office won't deliver it), however, I have a P.O. Box in town for the Parole Travel Document to be delivered to but I don't see that there is any space for that P.O. Box address in the form or section. What should I do? i went to the uscis website and that is the latest form. there are no new forms to get so i just used the one that says expire 4-30-22

Hi Kseniya, for field 5, what if you currently do not have a citizenship for any country? For instance, I was born in Vietnam, but I'm not a Vietnamese citizenship. I'm a greencard holder so I effectively do not have citizenship anywhere...so what goes into field 5?
You must be a citizen of some country. Just because you have a green card doesn’t mean you’re no longer a citizen of the country which you came from.
For a parole outsthe US, is it part 1, 3 and 7?

Hi, I already applied my i485 application. It's now almost 1 yr. My case is still in processing. I contacted the Uscis and they said another 5 more months. I want to apply advance parole to see my daughter in Canada. Do I still need to pay for the fee for i131 application. I was told that since my case is still in processing I don't have too? No fee. Send it with I-485 receipt copy. AP takes 9+ months to approve these days

Kseniya, so how much is the fee for the I-131 if I didn’t do it concurrently with the AOS packet. We didn’t think we would need it but these backlogs are taking forever. I want to file an I-131 for my wife, while we wait it out but unsure about the correct fee. Thank you.
If you send it while I-485 is still pending, it’s still free. You just need to include I-485 receipt copy

Hmm good question, usually applications give an option to provide both a physical and a mailing address. I would put the mailing address in part 1.
