Watching Mastermind recently and got 5 points by knowing that Everest was originally called Peak 15. The only reason I know this is because I’ve listened to this song about twenty seven thousand times. Thanks, PSB.

Heard PSB on the radio the other night and thought then that this was the most original music I have heard in many a year. Putting old public information films and pathe news type stuff together with music is pure genius. A touch Jean Michelle Jarre in there I think but still brillient stuff. More of the same to look forward to I hope.

I was there in 1999 as a physician for the National Geographic expedition. Things were different then. Now it's a mob scene and a traffic jam. Great video, what surprised me the most, is in one of the frames it shows a climber on the Hillary expedition with a black oxygen bottle on his pack. Our lead climber found the same wire- wrapped bottle (to prevent expansion at high pressure) stamped "1953" at the south Col.

brilliant tune and an awesome group. I lhope to hear lots more from PSB in the future. As a (rather average) climber and mountaineer, that last question and answer
'Why should a man climb Everest?'
    'Because it is there'
chokes me up a bit every time I hear it - The man who answered that question was George Mallory, he died along with Andrew Irvine making one of the first serious attempts on the summit in 1924 - two of many who didn't return from the peak. RIP to all who have died on Everest

It’s an insult to suggest any band sounds like another band unless they are covering that bands songs, imagine the time, effort, dedication and more importantly CREATIVITY that goes into these unique compositions then to be told you sound like blah blah or blah blah, total rudeness and a complete lack of respect to ANY artist who creates something from their own consciousness
