The car is powered by its original 460ci V8 mated to a three-speed C6 automatic transmission. Additional details include date correct steel wheels wearing full covers and new whitewall tires! Finsihed in a factory black on black vinyl roof, gray pinstripes, concealed headlights, black leather upholstery, power-assisted steering and brakes, chrome bumpers and body trim, and an AM/FM cassette stereo as well as a working Cartier clock!
The cabin features Twin Comfort Lounge front seats and a rear bench trimmed in black leather and complimented by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Woodgrain trim accents the dash and doors, and amenities include power-adjustable front seats, power-operated windows and door locks, folding center armrests, and an AM/FM cassette stereo. Most importantly the air conditioning is functional and blows cold!
The three-spoke woodgrain-trimmed steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a fuel level gauge, and a working Cartier analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows less than 45k miles which are original to the vehicle. A comprehensive 25-hour Multi-step paint correction and wax coating to preserve + protect this special car for years to come. By 1974 that car was $10,000 brand new. A Lincoln Continental four-door sedan was just under $9,000 in 1972.

My Mark III had the hood release under the bumper like that and I am surprised they still did that for this model. The 1963 Lincoln Continental had the hood release inside on the left side of the steering wheel.

Sorry - but Mark 4 was a very bad design. A 'grim duc' compere to the others. Awful whit that high back rooftop. Destroy absolute all of the elegance the others have. Tragic.

The 72 mark IV is my dream car however the bar across the grill has to definitely got to go it ruins the look of what the 72 mark was intended to look with a tall beautiful grill . The bumpers design was intended to be with out that stupid looking bar....
