Jason, I like how you always show the "Hard work" while a lot of youtubers just fast forward and make things look easy. Congrats on the water!
Agreed!
I can’t even imagine the sense of accomplishment you feel after every project you do. You decide what you want and then you just do it! The world needs more people like you, that aren’t afraid to try new things. Great job.👏🏻 🎉
I’ve got tears in my eyes. All of us watching your family’s accomplishments are grateful for your journey!!
Same! Doing the work and seeing the results and saving some time and energy for better production...Awesome and Gratifying...!
I am soooo impressed! Go Jason and Lorraine! The place looks more beautiful every time I see it-and more functional with every hard-won improvement.
Be sure to place some sort of marker where your connecters for the piping are located, they'll likely be the first place it would spring a leak. Absolutely put on a timer system with drip irrigation, especially inside the tunnel, it will help avoid dragging the hose across the crops. Good job Family ... Team Work Made The Dream Work!
Jason love how you can talk, work an get things done all at the same time , i enjoy your videos, God bless your family
Thanks 👍
You guys are teaching lots of people how to become more self sufficient. This is very important. I've learned so much from you, so thanks. I also enjoy watching all the great progress with your new property. It's very encouraging.
Jason your joy running along checking for drips made me laugh for the first time in days of being in agony as my pain meds get dialed in.
🙏🙏🙏
I almost got emotional at the end. I'm so happy for all this means for your farm !!!
Jason you are the epitomy of hard work and determination will make life easier in the end. Great job!! Good job also Lorraine and Penelope for helping to fill in the trench. All 3 of you are awesome.
Jason you have worked so hard basically alone, building the high tunnel, the fence and now the water line. You should be very proud. I hope this makes your life much easier!
You did strike gold!!!! Water on a homestead is GOLD. SO HAPPY for you Jason!!!! Such a huge milestone you've made!!!
Cannot wait to see this year's endeavors continue to flourish!!!!!
Water is better than gold! A HUGE accomplishment! And I do love seeing those piglets.
Water is better than gold here in California.
Woo hoo water. Great job Jason. What a difference that'll make in watering chores.
Next step is to set up a trickle watering system along all of your garden beds so you don’t have to stand for hours hand watering all your beds. Water is to the base of your plants and there is less lost to evaporation. But definitely a moment for celebration getting water closer and not having to cart it in a bucket. Great work!!
Congratulations! Calls for a celebration of cake and ice cream.
Or maybe pie and icecream.
Yes!! You will be so glad when you are older that you made things easier now.
Why do I want to cry? I’m so happy and proud and excited and all the feels! Watching you struggle and do it the hard way without one complaint, then watching you come up with ways to improve your situation the best you could a long the way (rain water collection), to now a complete home run just has me overcome with joy for you three. I want nothing more than to see you succeed in this game we call life. Of all the channels I watch (and there’s a lot) I really feel like you have found your way inch by inch and watching you succeed is a pleasure. I have no idea what you’ll do next, but with your creative minds I’ve no doubt it will be entertaining! Congratulations on underground water system!! I hope it makes your life easier. ❤😊
I love ALL Sow the Land videos!
Yippee, Jason! I am so happy for you. You have WATER!
I know I’m weird but I got emotional when you finished your fence and just now again with the completion of your water lines. The way you tell the story makes me invested and so happy for your family. It’s so much fun watching you tackle these enormous projects and then winning!! Thank you!🫶
I have a handful of channels that truly bless me, yours is one of them! Thank you & the girls.
I learn so much watching your efforts. I'm 74, my husband is 91. We started our homestead in 2021. It's been an experience for sure. Only 3 acres. Mostly down hill.
I'm so excited for you all, and so impressed with your skills! You are really becoming such a homesteading talent! God bless you and your family! Love from Southern California💙💚
Love from the central coast of California, near Vandenberg Space Force Base.
The world is so full of troubles and drama. I love how you meet the challenge with such humor and positivity!
I have such a sense of relief and happiness for you! BTW . . . I also love your choice of jazz.
My gosh, it looks like wrestling giant slinkies!! good job! Maybe a bit of fun too.
That shovel is our fav for digging out weeds 😂
You are one of the hardest working couples on u-tube. I enjoy your adventures on the homestead. Please be careful of wayward water tubing!
This trenching worked great for the watering system
We watch all you NC homesteading mofia people, Mike/Lacy, justin/Becca, Manbun/Meg and been doing so for years now.
We are very proud to see you putting down water and electric lines underground! It doesn't pay to fight leaking/broken/run-over water pipes. Thank you, we enjoy your ways and demeanor. (From Indiana)
do you watch homestead shop talk it amazing too
Jason all that hard work you’re doing & the family is definitely showing. God bless
No more carrying buckets of water. Great result.
I wish my little farm was moving forward as fast as yours! Great job
Jason, you deserve to gloat over your water achievements. Well done. Viv
Knowing when to waste your time is important isn’t it? This is a great accomplishment. Always a pleasure‼️🌻
Congratulations Jason Loraine and Penelope what a milestone hurdle you've accomplished whoohoo
Great video Jason
I enjoy all of your
families videos ….
Thank You
Linda from Ct
Thank you, Danne from California!
What satisfaction y'all must have from that hard work. Nice job!!
Congratulations! Great Job!
I can't believe you didn't use your spinning Jenny for that. Congratulations! I bet that'll make a huge difference.
Love your content Jason!
I wonder, is there a way to mark the spot where the two pipes cross. You will remember and see for a while but in a few years....maybe a piece of metal that a metal detector will find?
Also, you can measure the length from the water well connection to the split connection. And keep the measurements with the water well info. Imo
Someone might’ve mentioned it already but when you test for drips, you should cap the ends and then test it under pressure.
You should feel so proud of yourself, Jason! Way to figure things out. I'm inspired!! One thing that helps with pressure is buying a larger inside diameter hose.
Wow! Congratulations Jason, Lorraine, and Penelope, you deserve this win! Bravo! ✊🏼👊🏼🙌🏼♥️
I love how you show the little sausages in every episode ❤❤
Sow and roots are the best on the tube
I adore the Hollars also, such a lovely family with a chill vibe. Always smiles all around and Buggie is a star😀
Congratulations on the new water system🎉🎉 Great job installing everything. That white water line was a hoot to get started in the trench. 'Gag gift' 😂🤣😂🤣 This is a huge step forward on the farm. 👏👏👏👏
Bravo to you and the fam hard work and focus equals great results!
Sow happy for you all to not have to lug buckets! ❤ Learning as you go is by far the best school of homesteading! Extra credit for getting the baby pigs in on a video about water!❤❤🐷🐷🐷🐽🐽🐽
Jason, you are so hilarious. You'll have 500,000 subscribers in no time. God you deserve it 👏 bravo 👏
Jason and Lorraine and Penelope I'm proud of you people you've done well in your homestead and you've done things when it's time to do the things for your homestead I'm very proud of you and you are one of my favorite youtubers of homesteading that I really do enjoy I barely watched you for the last four or five years hard and watching you you are a joy to watch when your video is up and running I watch him very closely I watch him congratulations on a good Homestead ❗❗❗
Wow what a blessing! You have to be feeling a good sense of accomplishment with this task now being behind you. May the blessing continue to flow your way for our friends at Sow The Land family farm 🙏👏👏👏🤠
You got a lot of infrastructure done this year. Homestead getting better and better
The end of a successful project…an amazing feeling. Congratulations
Do you remember the thing you made to unwind the wire from the back of the truck? I wonder if that would have worked for the tubing also? Too late for this project but maybe it could be used for anything else that needs to be uncoiled. 🤷🏼♀️ Having water piped to the high tunnel will make a huge difference! So many great improvements being achieved this year, I would be doing a happy dance all the time! 💃😃👏👏👏
Hey Jason! Consider T-tape drip lines that run on a timer. You'll have automatic watering! Spend more time with the pigs!
Sending blessings to your family
Joy-Joy-Joy! CONGRATULATIONS JASON AND LORRAINE. WE’VE GOT WATER! 👍🙏
My husband and I trenched and laid over 1000 feet of pex pipe this winter to install more hydrants for cattle waterers. When I saw you uncoiling your pipe I started to scream “No, NO! Unroll it!” We went through the same frustration of having it spring back up on us until we learned how to unroll it into the trench. Thanks for being brave enough to show your learning process with its trial and error.
So happy for the three of you that you got the water down to the garden. God bless.
Good job, Jason...you are very inventive.
The music when he turns on the water, hahaha I’m loving it. Anticipation is killing me! Will it be leak free? YES! Will we have water at the end? YES!!! We did it; we did it! 😂
I am so proud of y’all . I was cheering him on as he was running to the hydrant
Gratitude! That's what that look was on your face, Jason! Awesome job as usual!!
Jason, you make it look SO easy! That is a huge accomplishment and that project will reap benefits for years to come!
Doing things the hard way makes one appreciate the things so many of us take for granted. What an AMAZING accomplishment! I'm so happy for you and the family!. Side note: I used think listening to cows munch on fresh grass was fun, but listening to piglets takes it to a whole new level! Lol.
Water is gold!
Congratulations, Jason and Elaine. You’ve come a long way since your first homestead. All of the improvements are amazing. Many Blessing!
Utterly FANTASTIC, Jason!!! High fives all around!

Lots of progress, thanks for sharing. Prayers for you guys.
Wonderful, so, so, happy for you all, we used the farm well and irrigation to water our garden, and buckets only when we ran out of well water, then we switched to the creek and either irrigation pipe with sprinklers or dipped water out of the creek with buckets, not fun...really happy for you all!
