- What's going on guys? This is VinylicPuma, back with another Borderlands 2 video for you guys and today, I figured I'd go over some of the new Legendaries that got added with the Borderlands 2 Commander Lilith DLC! As far as I can tell, there are about 5 Legendaries that have New Names and Red Text and while all 5 don't drop in game, I figured a lot of them could be cool to talk about and discuss here!

It’s a real shame about the Fire Drill, but the Thumpson is actually obtainable, it just requires you to become a grave robber in Dahl Abandon. Ki11er Six has a video about it.
The m2828 drops from the war helmet Easter egg you just have to get lucky for it to drop.

The Laser Pyrophobia for everyone asking about it is unstable like the Fire drill. It is only obtainable by using a save editor and putting them into your bank not backpack. It will disappear when in backpack upon quitting the game and you cannot put it back into your bank after taking it out to use again later, because reloading after quitting will cause it to disappear from there too on console - with the sanity check. You have to re-download your save from usb or cloud if you want to use it again. Honestly this should have been mentioned in the video, and also that at OP 10 it does 264 million damage (2.5x Norfleet damage) & can crit. Shooting one target you actually do 20 ticks of that damage (one tick doing that 2.5x Norfleet damage - and that 2.5 is including all three Norfleet projectiles), or you can sweap and hit multiple targets with the 20 ticks. With the bee shield it easily hits damage cap of 999 Million damage and crits will register 0K damage because the damage is so high. I don't believe this is an intentional weapon in the game. It 1 shots everything on OP 10 (especially if you use a non-elemental version which still does fire damage, but has a +20% damage bonus). This is most likely a dev speed running weapon which was left in the game code & used to test run through the dlc, or something like that imo.
Oh yeah, & it also regenerates ammo. So if u want an 1 shotting fire laser launcher that doesn't run out of ammo - there ya go.
Thank you so much. I was looking all over the internet for anything talking about the "New Pyrophobia" because it seemed op as hell and I wanted one. I couldn't find anything anywhere and i even farmed it in game to be met with disappointment. I thought maybe it was some weird dlc thing but i am glad its not. I don't know why he talked about it like the pyrophobia was reworked or something. I don't know why he even included illegitimate items in the first place. It seems stupid to talk about unobtainable weapons in a list people go in to looking for the coolest new weapons to get. Again, thank you so much.
@@dracodragon4294 Yeah no problem, happy to have helped. When I watched it I was confused what his intentions were talking about it like that. The other weapons that aren't obtainable (Fire drill, Effervescent Sinewy carnage) aren't particuarly overpowered, but the Pyrophobia is just ridiculous it's like the black hybrid weapons of old. I don't know why it was mentioned in a way that made it seem like it was in the game, when the fire drill was pointed out to be not legitimate and the Thompson was also said to be the same, when it is actually in the game. It's still early days in the release and there's bound to be some inaccurate info, but you can see the base damage at 80million on the one in footage and it is regenerating ammo. Tis a cool weapon to mess with tho, would have been better to just be like OMG look how overpowered this is and then showed some bonkers footage of damage numbers & killing bosses or something imo.

I love how strong the BL community has become. It's been 7 years since Borderlands 2 came out and there is still constantly new content coming out. When BL3 comes out it's going to consume my life.

Glad you mentioned the Fire Drill. I just got done using it to finish off the last 800 instances of igniting enemies to get rank 5 of Cowering Inferno.

Pajamapants Jack trespasser already did what needed to be done, at least for voracidous. I mean, you still have to deal with voracidous, easily the hardest thing in the game imo

The thumpson can be obtained by punching a grave over by where you first meet talon and Mordicai. I think either Killer Six or Joltz has a video on it.

I farmed Uranus a couple times, and I've gotten like 5 pearls, 4 Legendaries, and 2 Electric Chairs. Even got 2 Legendary Siren class mods and a Legendary Berserker.
He's PERFECT to farm, there's even an exploit little spot off to the right that you can crouch and once the turret on Uranus' left shoulder (your right) is destroyed, you can Bee shield him with zero issues
Pearls: 2 Butchers, 2 Avengers, 1 Unforgiven
Legendaries: Logan's Gun, Flakker, Slagga, Striker, Mashous, Fastball, 2 Legendary Siren class mods, 1 Legendary Berserker class mod
Effervescent: Rainbow Runner, 2 Electric Chairs (back to back)
Also got an E-Tech PBFG Launcher and E-Tech Spiker (Binary Spiker from Maliwan) from the loot chests after Uranus' arena
Meanwhile I have to farm Bunker for 2 hours to get a shittier version of the Sham than I already have

I love the dlc. It's story is good. Mourning Scooter. Feeling bad for Tina because she's starting to mature emotionally while facing the possibility of losing another loved one. The best (or worst depending on who you are) is that both Cassius and Uranus have such a huge legendary loot table. If you're patient enough, they're like a one stop shop. Downside to farming Uranus is that he flings loot in some of the weirdest places, so you have to spend a little more time double checking that you didn't miss any good loot.
You know you're early when the video is still in 360p!
Additionally the amigo has huge melee dmg bonus which makes it a heavenly match for zero.
Especially if you wanna go mixed melee and sniper.

The thumpson is an obtainable weapon in the dlc, do a tiny bit of research and you'll find out where its found
A bunch of army helmet marked graves scattered around the maps, I know one of them is in the Dahl abandon

And there was me feeling special for getting an Infection Cleaner spawn during my 1st vanilla playthrough (Oddly enough about 10 minutes before I got Hector's Paradise)... Ah well haha. It was a special moment literally going 'WHAT IS THIS?' legit seeing something new from a 7 year old game was marvellous, especially from free DLC. Well played, Gearbox

When an item you added via a save editor gets deleted on start-up, its from the games sanity check, it automatically deletes items it detects that are incorrect, the sanity check can be turned off via 3rd party processes.

Thumpson is obtained from a grave with a helmet you can go to in the Dahl Abandon in the back of one of the bandit camps in the mission The Oddest Couple. It is the third piece of food's camp.
The thumpson is obtainable in game, joltzdude or killer6 made a video about the weapon

You can find the thumpson in a secret grave in the new Dahl area outside the backburner

Yo @vinylicpumagaming you should check out killersix's video on the m2828 thumpson because it CAN drop in game.
A little backstory to the 2828 Thumpson, its a reference to the Brothers in arms games series as a whole but is more linked to a mission out of hells highway during the factory raid, you are given a M1928 tommy gun from a British tanker and he says it packs more punch than your standard tommy gun hence why it has a bigger mag size and slightly better damage.
The Thompson is in the back of bandit camp in the abandon dahl area on a digable grave

The Thompson has a chance to drop from a grave in Dahl Abandon. Just go to the place where you first met Talon, jump down and go right. There's a grave you can open that will always drop a Jacobs weapon which can be the Thompson.
I got a thumpson from a secret stash. when you meet talon instead of jumping down to left you jump to the right and keep going to the very end. it will tell you to melee and the stash have a chance to drop it.

Adam Musgrove you loose a lot due to that though such as accuracy and a faster firerate or more damage compensates well when you would be mobbing anyway and it shouldn’t take more than a few bursts to kill and enemy. In my opinion ammo efficiency and poor accuracy is not worth a minimal dps increase when all you’re gonna use it for anyway is loaders
@@ncdozer3103 it's not minimal your literally doubling your damage output, if you run it with the proper build then you don't have to worry about firerate and loaders are large wide enemies that don't require a lot of accuracy.
With this DLC, it feels rushed. Most of the voice lines sound so incredibly forced. With the older characters, like brick, Lilith and Morticai, but when it comes to the the ones that were less Important like tennis, Tina ect. They seemed more relaxed and realistic

The Thumpson is IN the dlc. You find it on the map, you just need to go find the Army Helmet on a shovel and open it like a skag pile. It's not a guaranteed drop, but it will drop eventually.
It's like you do the BARE MINIMUM amount of research in all your videos, dude.
if he does any research at all... he never learned manufacture quirks for bl3 and that info has been around for a long time before he started talking about it

I got an effervescent skin within the first 5 minutes of playing through the back burner lmao and then like 15 minutes later I got an infection cleaner
I’ve been noticing that most of the new legendary or effervescent weapons only have a blade attachment. It kind of sucks that it only has a melee attachment of all things but I’m still really happy they even added more content to BL2 before BL3 is released.

I got the Infinite gun (from in the vid) from a random drop. And the Thumpson one you can get from a hidden grave hidden in one of the levels, you click on it and it will pop out. Rarely though.

The Overcompensator is also quite similar to the gun Vasquez had when he tried to make Ryse and Vaughn dig their own graves........what a strange coincidence🤔🤔🤔

The m2828 is an Easter egg weapon that can be obtained through an Easter egg to brother in arms in the Dahl abandoned
I got a rainbow raity Tediore smg called the Infection Cleaner. The one I got was a fire element and it regens ammo slowly. Its not super slow but its like. Slow. Like walking. When throwing it, the gun spins and fires bullets.
