Thank you so, so much-i dont know why but ive been really struggling learning crochet, for some reason your video was the one where i finally understood the single stitch, so thank you so much 😭❤️❤️
I enjoy the music accompaniment and the captions. for me it makes it easier to go back to a section I need to see again. This is a great tutorial, I am almost done with my first one! Thank you
I'm an absolute beginner, and although I don't have the single and double crochet down just yet, I am practicing, and I would totally make my pumpkins like this. Thank you so much for this easy way of making my life easier and frustrations less ❤️.
Brilliant! I love how you do the stem! I'm making a bunch of pumpkins to sell and the stem has been the bane of my existence! I've tried crocheting them, using modeling clay and cinnamon stitches, but it's just not what I want. This is a game changer for me! You're my favorite person of the week! Thank you so much! Please keep creating and posting your videos. I'm going to be your next subscriber!
Finely found a easy pumpkin to make an happy you came up on my TH-cam new to your channel. Am going to make one . And that yarn 🧶 is pretty where you get that and what is it called?
Hi! The purple yarn is Lion Brand Mandala Tweed Stripes in Lucky Penny, the brown and beige yarns are Lion Brand Jeans, the orange yarn is Mary Maxim Starlette in burnt orange.
She is decreasing (skipping a stitch) starting on the second round. She singled crocheted in the 1st stitch, skipped the next SC and stitched in the 3rd SC. She did this about 3 to 5 times on the 2nd round and then closed it up by doing a gathering stitch around the top. I tried it and decreased wherever I felt it needed it. I did 3 rounds until it tapered at the top and then finished it like she did. Came out great. Hopes this helps.
hey Gina, i started this as a beginner and used a 3.5mm needle but only did 17 rows. i’m too far in to start over but i’m starting to worry my pumpkin won’t turn out right! it’s fine if it’s tiny, but will the shape be ok? thanks for making this tutorial btw, i was in tears trying to follow the paper instructions that came with the yarn until i watched this video!
Hi! I'm not sure what weight yarn you're using, but I use a crochet hook sized J or K when I make these with #4 weight yarn. If I checked the conversion correctly, a 3.5mm hook is a size E. This would be too small for #4 weight yarn. The final shape when you are finished crocheting is a rectangle. Please let me know if you need more info! I hope this helps!

Aww, your comment made my day! Thank you so much!
I just used a cinnamon stick for the stem. Just sewed around it as I pulled together the top. Cute and smells good.

Why is there no yarn or hook size?? Also measurements for finished project?
Love this crochet pattern your pumpkins are just beautiful. What is it called? Thank you:)
Can you do half double crochet stitches
What is that song?? I love it!!!
This will be my first try at crocheting. Can you tell me what size crochet needle to purchase and what thickness yarn. Can’t wait to give these a try!
Use any yarn you want and use the suggested hook on the paper around the yarn you purchase. 😊
When making the stem are you slowly making the opening smaller to taper it closed and skipping some at the tip?

@@tawandahayes5824 Thank you for replying! I just kept decreasing and skipping where I thought it made sense to and it came out pretty good! 😄

Perfect! Ty
Its super cute, but you didn't explain how to close the opening of the pumpkin before making the stem. It was a little confusing for me as a beginner.

I’m confused do you chain 1 at the end of every row?

Muted. Great pattern but music jammin in my face not necessary. Maybe something softer? Ugh
What’s nit-picky complaint 🙄
