For Bigger size:
Medium Size: Begin with a foundation chain of 34. Then, repeat the following pattern: (5sc, 5hdc, 13dc, 5hdc, 5sc) across 33 stitches of the chain for a total of 30 rows.
Large Size: Start with a foundation chain of 40. Follow this pattern: (6sc, 6hdc, 16dc, 6hdc, 6sc) across 40 stitches of the chain for a total of 50 rows.

I'm still a beginner to crochet but of all the pumpkins I've seen I love the shape of this one the most. I can't read a pattern yet so hopefully I can follow the video, and make something that resembles the pumpkin.

This is by far the best pumpkin tutorial I have seen. I like how the stitches "get taller" in the middle so that when you fill it with polyfill, it makes that nice pumpkin shape. I would have never thought of doing that. I've made other pumpkins using single or half double crochet in the back loops only, and when I stuff the pumpkin with polyfill, you can see the polyfill between the stitches. This way prevents that completely. Awesome design!

I have such a hard time working amigurumi because it's hard working in the limited space. I love that this pattern is worked flat and then seamed for the shape. I got it on the first try and the results are so cute!

I made a pumpkin with left over chunky orange yarn and some chunky green yarn, and the pumpkin turned out about 7 inches wide by 8 inches (including the stem) and it looks so pretty! Thanks so much for sharing this lovely pattern!

I cant stop making punpkins 😊 such a good tutorial, Im not a bigginer but I think its simple enough that anyone can do it, and you did such a good job explaining! Im gonna be making a big one by adding stitches and using very chunky yarn with a bigger hook
