@@Bthelick cheers man I checked it out a little while ago and have started to pay a lot more attention to each drum element and how it impacts the vibe of the track.
Was more thinking about the melody side of things, involving the groovy and catchy basses / stabs / chords / etc. I’m still working my way through your channel though and have watched a lot of the chord stuff, but even with that knowledge I struggle with the melody side of things. Not sure what it is because I’ve been producing for 3/4 years now and still get basic melodies

I do have some older videos on melody which need a refresh so keep an eye out we'll be doing more for sure.

Hmmm, yep definitely think basic melodies are the way to go, maybe I should of said I’m lacking that missing part that makes the melody ‘catchy’.
