before replacing the sensor if it isnt cracked you should check the aftertreatment dpf differental pressure in monitor on insite, it can cause this code. do not use dorman sensors only a cummins sensor you will regret it. when the sensor is out start and run the engine and check for air flow in none the port is plugged and needs cleaned.
Ya i just replaced one because the guybwho programmed it didnt turn all of the egr stuff off so now i keep a check engine light over stupid stuff but i changed this sensor for like 20 bucks and that one went away
@@jbarnes4271no any def sensor wouldn’t allow you to run a regen. Also yes it will cause problems it’ll cause your engine to de rate at a 25percent rating.

My engine surge when I do a regen also with the same Code. Did you fix it if so what did you do to fix it?
Why did you change it?
This one was giving a fault code for that sensor. Changing it then running a forced regen seemed to fix the problem! Thanks for watching
