I have a day- date, made in 1967. I love it! Wouldn’t trade it for nothing! Enjoy wearing it immensely. Matt

That Day Date has really seen some rough times, it has been polished so much that the form of the case is totally destroyed. And the bracelet is worn out. The good thing with the 18038 is that it is a bit thicker than the 1803 and the model that came after the 18038. I looked for 7months before I found one that was in original condition and not over polished and without stretch on the bracelet.

That’s fantastic that you found a 18038 with no scratches it must’ve never been worn or it has been polished sometimes it’s very hard to tell. If you’re ever ready to part with it I will pay you full value for the watch. The bracelet on this watch in the video, I demonstrated there is no stretch and we took it to a special factory in Germany to tighten the bracelet like factory new. Also the watch is in 100% original condition and no parts are aftermarket.

I just got mine a few months ago but it’s not a quick set. Does that mean it’s a 1803

Incorrect Box. And although I prefer sapphire over plexi, it is still nothing more than an opinion as there are, still this day, legitimate pros and cons to both crystal options.

Don't know about you, but I want my watch to be heavy if its a precious metal.

I think it’s substantial. Not extremely heavy but definitely not as light as the steel.

You got a good deal. With the fully pyramid bracelet and bezel with factory diamonds.
