Uncle Ted! LOVE that man. No drugs. No drink. Just pure inborn madness. That guitar he's playing is a Gibson Byrdlands. If they weren't $10-20K, I'd have one. And yes, you'd be fine at this concert. You'd be welcomed with open arms, brother. Music is for everyone. I just subbed.
Ted Nugent is close to 70 years old. Besides being an American musician, he is also an outdoorsman, hunter, gun advocate, conservationist. He was in a super group called Damn Yankees and they did only 2 albums. So, I suggest checking out "Come Again" off the 1st Damn Yankees album. This song showcases Ted's guitar skills.
Fuckin loved the reaction brother. Thanks for doing it. This song is a musical master class in rock n roll.. Also, I would call this Rock and Roll, Southern Rock tends to be a little more Blues oriented I believe. Yes man, if you have a good attitude, skin color don't matter and you could have been there to watch to show. There was black people around that scene and those bands all the time, the Rock scene in America in the 60's and 70's was against racism for the most part. Of course there are always outliers but over all the mentality was like "if you are cool with us, we are cool with you".
