This song is a cover, first done in 1971 by some one i cant remember the name of and Lynyrd Skynyrd did their version in 74 I believe. Nofx is my favorite band ever, I even have them tatooted on my arm!one of only 3 stops I have. Nofx has been around since the 80sand a lot of their songs are very short, fast and hard hitting. Street performing is pretty popular in UK, especially London. It's very impressive to see so many people watching them in Brighton. It's a creative hub town tho so locals and tourists know what to expect there. They are always doing different things, I would say this song is the tamest song they have done yet but its actually pretty catchy. It really grew on me.

As a Hanabie fan, i also think this is their weakest song. Same time it's fine they are trying to experiment with more sounds and it's okay to have one underwhelming song, considering how good their other songs are.

That was a very FINE reaction to "Metalizm"! You´re right in so far, that it carries heavy middle east influence, but I still have the feeling that it was meant to carry (very) ancient Egypt vibes. The dance moves often look a lot like the ancient Egypt mural paintings displaying people in a particular style. Sometimes the video in the background looks more like exploring an ancient Egyptian temple... Like you, I like "Metalizm" very much for its vibes. I don´t think that it is a masterpiece in relation to many other titles of BABYMETAL, but it´s a stark display of the singing abilities of Su-Metal (she sounds AMAZING here!) and the dancing abilities of Moametal and Momometal (they are GREAT doing this fast and very complex choreography!). If you want to look for some Indian style, try "Shanti Shanti Shanti". Totally different (as per usual, if it is about BABYMETAL! 😉) to "Metalizm". It sounds a bit similar, but it is a whole lot different in its vibes and style.
