Lmfao im building a truck just like this one with an lb7 i found a nice quad steer bed idk if i should send it or just go with a normal bed but ive been going as budget as possible but it's still so much money because you just cant cheap out on certain things man and i still got the pain job to go thatll be another 3k and only because i'm painting it myself it's a lot bro
Truck master do you regret going with the quad steer bed? Or do you think it looks better than a regular bed? I have the same build going on and i came across a cheap quad steer bed i could throw on but i don't want the truck to look off specially because i dont plan on running front fender flares dont want it to rust again I'd love your input on this thank you in advance
Love the build keeps me inspired to finish up the truck my son left me when he left this world. One day I will finish his dream. Keep up the great work and god bless you and your family.
Dude the entire team at Boost Auto is phenomenal at what they do. The sequential lighting and making it DIY friendly and affordable if ya save a few paychecks is amazing innovation. As usual Josh antoher great build and investment. Spectacular all the way around. Truly though shout out to the Boost Auto parts team great job.
Man, the Sunkist build is one of the cleanest cat-eyes out there, the Boost Auto parts really tie it together. Would like to see a stock build like you were originally were going to do though.
Ive installed cab lights on a non factory equipped cab light truck. Its easy when you have the OEM parts and layout to install it from a parts truck etc. make sure its sealed right. And will never have water leaks. I never had any leaks with mine so far. Ive installed cab lights on a obs Chevy 2500 diesel. Even easier lol
I think this is one of my favorite trucks ever. Love it. And to top it off its my companies main color! My logo would look sick on that. I bought an lbz or signed a sales agreement extended out to may of next year. I cant wait to get it. I will be painting it basically tangier orange for my work truck/business.
Suggesting using drill mode for smoother precise cuts with less rebound. Instead of hammer drill/driver mode. Dremel sanding band or grinding stone knocks down any drill ridges left over. Silicone rubbed on the hole edge minimizes oxidation. Look into Icon Rocklear!
Oh I love the Denali. Great looking, clean truck. The White Denali isn't too shabby either. But I love that Sunkist build. My favorite is the Wife Max...for the lights, I'm going to lean toward Sunkist!
I appreciate everything you do josh. I see alot of similarities between you and I. We both have kids and we do everything in our power for them and still make time and stuff to appreciate and restore some older trucks and make them better then new ones. I could go on and on but these are some examples. Anyways love the content and love the trucks leep it up buddy
Hopefully you got a first gen dodge with a twelve valve Cummins and a five speed manual. Also out of the three trucks I think the Sunkist looks the best!!
I'm guessing a Kodiak truck. Since your done with Sunkist, could you add a parts list of aftermarket upgrades. I'm going to restomod my one owner truck next year and love the Sunkist build.
I think a Neat build would be to find chevrolet suburban 2500 like a 2004 and do a duramax swap and build it with everything HD you can like hood and grill row mirrors and so on. And call it the SUBMAX... LOL. All jokes aside I know there is some of those out there but with your builds it would make a great videos. Another name SUPERIOR MAX.
Theres new style head C shape headlights that are sequential for the cat eye that i have on my truck and would look much better for your truck to complete it lol
Would I drill holes in my cab? I've had my 04 LB7 for 5 years. 80k miles I've put on it. Put countless hours into it. Did an engine swap, new trans, so so so many things over the years and I have quite a sentimental connection with it. I recently installed a mini-split A/C system in the truck(now used as a hotshot rig). I took the back seat out and built a bed platform with enough space underneath to mount the inside unit to the back wall of the cab. I drilled a 2 inch hole in the back of the cab and through the bed to run my refrigerant lines through to the outside unit which is mounted behind my toolbox. Would I drill holes for cab lights? Thankfully I didn't have to but I'd be nervous about misaligning something if I did 😂
not a fan of cab lights. plus its another place to catch water and start rusting or leaking into the roof. I do like a nice set of steps on lifted trucks I hate the cheap looking standard round chrome ones.
That's what I did with my other 3rd gen ram I own. I found a couple selling an 04, Ram 2500 5 9 cummins, thry thought it was blown up because it had a knock noise. But I knew with zero blowby and some other diagnosis. That it was an injector stuck open causing detonation. I gave them the $3500 thry were asking and towed it home about 9 hours😂 and I put cab corners and rockers on it and had it painted, and the trans was rebuilt about 3 months before I bought the truck so all I had to do was the injectors and the rust and now I've been daily driving it and upping the power for the last 4 years 😂😂💙💙💙

First time order. Pcv reroute definitely needed. About to start chasing mystery oil burn in lbz. No smoke, nothing in coolant, we shall see. 🤞
@@jeffpotterjr4663awesome! Hope you figure things out but the reroute kit is a perfect option to keep your internals
Clean
I would like to see an actual budget build like how you originally were gonna do with this truck, I thought it was a cool relatable series
Best he can do is wide chrome wheels take it or leave it lmao
I know what is wrong with me 😂

man that sunkist build came out great, love the bed on that truck, best of both worlds, Its like a mini Dually (single)
Your not kidding it’s like a Dually in a way
@@TruckMaster Sunkist Super Single
Hell yeah , dude I love lights . I love what youve done with the truck. Good job man!!!
I NEED THESE STEPS AND CAB LIGHTS!
Your truck would look sweet with these
The boost mirrors are really cool
I cut holes for cab lights on my 04 F-350 and I would do it again
👍🏽 I’m still getting used to the orange, but the truck looks awesome, great build Josh .
It took a while to grow on me too
Yeah you did a killer job on that orange chevy man for sure my favorite.
Thanks brother
Man, the Sunkist build is one of the cleanest cat-eyes out there, the Boost Auto parts really tie it together. Would like to see a stock build like you were originally were going to do though.
Thanks! I might have to go back and do that stock build after all!
Sunkist is the best truck out of the trucks ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I appreciate your work you do to the trucks. This is one of my favorite.
Thanks 🙏
Man I ve been wanting to do cab lights on my 08 duramax
These would look sweet on a 08
I used the BA white S series 2019 dodge cab lights. I love the 5 piece look

@@TruckMaster amen!
The Sunkist is the first thing you see on boost auto parts website!!!
I’ve gotta say that orange is pretty unique!
Love the classic style, but i love the look of your denali.
The Denali looks sweet
Wish I can get these for my truck

Sounds like we have a lot in common! Keep doing what you do!
I can’t stand not having cab lights on a 8 lug truck, just don’t look right. I have a 14 f250 and need cab lights bad..!
I agree
Love the Sunkist build my favorite truck you have build
Love your work brotha!! Ideas for my new-to-me 2023 Chevy 2500HD Z71 wirh the LP5 keep rolling in! Thank you for the content!
What’s up! Check out there cab lights for that model I’m really impressed with the look of them
@TruckMaster yessir! My LT is a bo-bo that didn't come with the cab lights. Booooo! Let's fix that😁
Hopefully you got a first gen dodge with a twelve valve Cummins and a five speed manual. Also out of the three trucks I think the Sunkist looks the best!!
Looks awesome dude. Did you have to silicone the holes?
Is there any possibility water seeps through? Love the videos!!
From all the research I did these this will not leak at all.
please do a stock build, I like the truck but would like to see something OEM+
You gatta get the Diode Dynamics headlight kit for the denali
What, you forgot to swap the mirror colors from "orange on black" to "chrome on orange"
I'm guessing a Kodiak truck. Since your done with Sunkist, could you add a parts list of aftermarket upgrades. I'm going to restomod my one owner truck next year and love the Sunkist build.
You are correct I will definitely need a updated tcase at bare minimum
2005 Chevy 3500 dually lly
A classic.
Sunkist all the way
I just have to say your such a bad influence sometimes 😂 god damn it now I need to do this!! Looks so nice

They would make so much more if they did OBS Ford parts as well… 90s trucks
All but one Orange one
As a ford guy i have to say this truck is so sexy! I love the cateyes
Cool love🎉
Dam haven't watch a video in a loooong while and still in this truck lol
Ford super duty
Sunkist needs a cover to keep her safe an clean.
Good idea
Now you just need headlights and tail-lights for the Denali
I agree
Theres new style head C shape headlights that are sequential for the cat eye that i have on my truck and would look much better for your truck to complete it lol
Great content Josh. You bought a Ford....
Always gotta have a Ford. 😂
Hey Josh how long did it take for you to find out that the step drill was hot?!!😲
1.5 seconds 😂

I hope the new truck is a powerstroke but knowing this channel it’s another duramax 🤣
You should duramax swap the obs and build it that would be sick
I was thinking about it 😂
@TruckMaster I'd love to watch that process I wanna do the same to the 98 k1500 I'm working on
Get spark Smith grill bars
Kodiak
Also Im guessing you bought a 12 valve cummins!? For your next project. A 12 valve 5 speed? Thats my guess😅
6.7 Ford
Yes
Last mod check out SparkSmith
not a fan of cab lights. plus its another place to catch water and start rusting or leaking into the roof. I do like a nice set of steps on lifted trucks I hate the cheap looking standard round chrome ones.
I would drill holes in my cab before I paint it
Orange
steelbody 6.7 is my guess
White !
Definitely
It’s a dually
🤔
I bet you will still add more mods😂
I need to stop with this truck 😂
sunkist looks good but man the wheels aren't doing it for me
I love cab lights but I am not a big fan of the them flashing with the turn signals. That’s just my personal opinion but hey it’s not my truck. 🤷🏻
We've got them as running light only as well if that's your preference!
I’m going to say 2003 GMC
How do fix a spun cab bolt or broke bolt ?
Sometimes I would have to cut a hole on the inside of the cab to get the other side of the bolt out
When will they have power steps for the cateye
I'm not 100 percent sure but I believe he has them on his red duramax already
I’m not sure yet but hopefully they make them soon
Had to reupload?
YT is giving me problems unfortunately
Was it hot ?😂 brother

A square body
You put a motor in this, didn't you? I remember you needing to replace the motor you had in it, post build?
