Most likely the small gasket around the filler screw was not seated properly or has deteriorated. Did my Ritchie a couple of years ago and, after replacing the gasket, the bowl hasn’t leaked. 👌⛵️🇨🇦
Filling it cold, then say it gets under the hot sun, something a ship compass might do, won't the fluid expand and build pressure? They put a bit of air at the top of any sealed bottle for a reason. Maybe this one has a plunger to deal with pressure differences? hmm.
so guys what would happen if where to have dranken a very small like a ball the size of this . right here accidentally when suckling from my tactical pen
Does anyone know much about compasses? Brother just smashed one and liquid came out, he asked me if it was water, I didn’t know so I touched it and it felt greasy, and then sniffed it. It smells like A melted crayon, or what he said, Sweat. I googled it, soooooo am I gonna die? There’s apparently mercury and stuff in them, the compass wasn’t as big as the one in the video, it was a hand held one. Just looking to know what to do, I have washed my hands, LUCKILY I didn’t touch it with my finger that has a cut on it.
You need some sort of sandbags to make a nest to hold the thing steady. Also, where did the fluid leak out in the first place?

If you want fill it properly, put a fluid and a compass in a refrigerator first.

@@terminalpsychosis8022 there's a diaphram to compensate for expansion.

Only very old compasses would have mercury and you'd be able to see it. What you likely have in it is either kerosene or mineral oil.
Are you still alive after 3 years? If so, I would say the fluid will not kill you.
@@johnbspringer I am alive and well, yes.
How much my cost a compuss fluid?
what is that liquid? looks like silicone.
Kerosene, but it should be very good quality.
