Thank you for this video. It really helped as I had no idea how to style a CV. My CV is for a social work position with an academic element, so I have made the adjustments accordingly.
Hi Rene first of all I would like to thank you for such an amazing video!.First time I've used Google Documents and prepared mine CV in same method which you have done in the video.I think this is the best CV format so far I've seen.By the way I am newly graduate Mechanical Engineer I never had job experience before. Can I use this CV style or should I prefer different format for my profession? Is there anything that I should pay attention for? Thanks in advance! Greetings!
Thank you for such a comment, Tamer! This format and style is perfect for Mechanical Engineers. Maybe consider page margins of '1 inch' if there's much space left. Other than that, wish you all the best :) Kr René
Hey, My cousin recommend your video. I saw this and make my CV exactly in that way. But, I'm somehow newly graduate with no projects so should I add the project section in my CV or may I skip that ? How it would be if I add carrer objective section instead of project section? What would be more appropriate? Looking forward to your reply. Thank you in advance
quick question on this, I am somebody who is transition from one sector into another . When it come to the experience section of the CV, do I put what is most relevant to the position I am applying for or do I put all recent experience i.e. all exp within last 5 years?
Hey Jordan! I'd focus on what's most relevant to the position you are applying for. Maybe you can briefly mention your most recent experiences, but in the end you need to think from their perspective: How can you add value to their organization? Do you have the skills and experience to fill the role and make them money? I know, it sounds a bit shallow but it helps you to simplify the job application process. Hope that helps! Kr René
I have a master's from a French university. but I have been unemployed for the last 2 years. How do I circumvent or address the gap in my CV so that my chances increase. in this time, I learned german (have cleared B2 level), ML, and taught English for a few months and these activities are not related to the field in which I want to work. Is it okay to mention these activities to explain the gap while applying for PhDs or jobs as these are not relevant? I have been struggling with this for months now. Could you advise me on this?

Excellent oratory! Do you offer Google Workspace and MS Office courses? I would totally buy it.
Thank you very much.
This is looking great!! But does it mean writing a compelling personal summary is no longer necessary?
I think that as long as you have experience, they do not care about your summary. But each recruiter is different so who knows.
Depends on your experience and the position you are applying for.
Great job.thanks 🙏
Thank you too!
❤ thank you!
No problem Birte 😊

So they made it illegal to put a photo in your CV in the USA but then you gotta have a LinkedIn account to have more chances 💀
In other countries is also not advisable to put your photo in your CV.
