This guy is the perfect encapsulation of the blindness of the mainstream consensus. Klobuchar and Buttigieg were so roundly rejected by the democratic electorate, Klobuchar especially, and yet he thinks they left the primary in the best position? It's lunacy. No matter how disinterested the voters are, no matter how badly they're rejected by them, he just feels in his gut that they're the best because they're dry, over coached, and offer no policy of consequence or interest. They have no ideas for the future, and what's worse, they aren't ancient like Joe Biden.

No matter what happens Jan 6, the Ukraine impeachment, the utter mishandling of covid, and so on will not be forgotten. Trumps legacy is completely over. If he plays his cards right, he will influence the republican party for a bit. If he runs for office, he'll lose and Trumpism would be proven not a viable method to win elections.
I am not vouching for Biden and hope for Bernie or a more progressive candidate to run. But Trump will not win. He scares everyone but the far right, and has way too much shady crap under his belt to get the right leaning moderate vote.
I do pray that Trump will run. Trump vs a strong progressive candidate would blow up, not being able to do anything. It'll pave the path for a progressive future that will benefit you and me.

Most of his votes weren't because they thought he would do a good job, it was a vote against the slimeball who was in office then. If Trump wasn't such a narcissist, lying shithead and had not totally mishandled the pandemic response he would be well into his 2nd term as many Dem voters likely wouldn't have cared enough to vote.

@@callmeleegaming8211 most of what you said is verifiably wrong. Trump received more votes than any incumbent president in history, that proves literally the opposite of what you said.
Idk if you watched the Ukraine thing, but schiff brutally shat the bed and made everybody involved not named Donald Trump look like an idiot. Jan 6 is pulling at straws, it wasn't the bloody, violent insurrection the Democrats and media desperately wanted it to be, and theres evidence of trump trying to stop it. The covid thing is a downright lie to anybody who was paying attention early on to how he reacted.
I've grown to realize, progressive doesnt always mean good. I cant think of one good thing modern progressives want to do. I cant stand the self righteousness of them essentially saying we can save the world if we listen to them, it's all power plays. The thought of headlines one day saying "congratulations humans, we stopped climate change" or "we ended systemic racism" is impossible and laughable. Modern progressives want everybody focused on fixing things they know cant be fixed or dont exist.

I don't know who potato head is, but if you are talking about Biden, here goes. (BTW, you lower yourself when you insult people by calling them names. *Respect begets respect,* and your ex president does not know the meaning of being respectful, nice, compassionate, nor when to shut his big mouth:
      1) Biden sent you, and millions of people, stimulus check to help you and millions of people. Right now, he is giving about $3,000 +/- if you call for it.
      2) He has been, really a very compassionate and good president. Never talks bad about anybody.
      3) He has been fighting to get a hold of COVID-19. None of us who have gotten the vaxx and the booster has had to pay a cent. Trump would have charged, heavens know how much per shot.
Unfortunately, there are people who don't want to cooperate, and are willing to die for this idiot, Trump. So, they won't get the vaxx because Trump lied and misinformed them, royally.
BTW, Trump has received the first two shots, and the booster. This pandemic might have already been finished if Trump and RepublikanS stop misinforming people, all of them, Republikan$, have had their 3 shots, already.
      4) He wrote after investigating what was needed to be fixed, the Infrastructure Bill passed, with this, he will create jobs, and - if the Republicans and traitor Manchin behaves, Biden will improve the lives of billions of poor, indigent, and low income people by giving them $300 per child. 5) The Democrats will expand MEDICARE, they might even raise the Social Security amount on checks, medical prescriptions will be more affordable (i.e., insulins, the pharmacists sell it at $1,000, the new price will be $35.00.) (Regarding MEDICARE/MEDICAID, Social Security, Affordable Care Act, the right to vote, the right to freedom of speech and other rights and entitlements have and will be abolished if Trump wins. He promised to take the federal tax if he were to win the presidency again.
You know that all the entitlements' money come from the federal tax, right? Well who do you think is going to keep all the money of all the entitlements and SocSec.? Donald Trump, the Orange 🤡.
      6) Biden is trying to get the Bill "Back Better", this will help with what I wrote regarding expanding Medicare, right?
We will have dentists, opthalmologists, and... don't remember what else.
      7) Regarding Afghanistan, Trump set him up to fail. Trump even admitted that he did that. You know, I have never been to any of his rally, but I'm sure that he makes fun of anything and whoever, as if he were perfect. He has been the worst president that the USA has ever had.

I think it's time the news media stopped bracketing and placing bets on future political races and started reporting on what really is news, like how bills affect us and what is happening in our cities and the world other than future political face offs. Think of all the hot air and air time wasted cheering or booing somebody that could drop out of politics, be in prison or be dead. I really miss the days when the media steamroller didn't take off until closer to the primaries. I think a large number of voters are thoroughly sick of politics by the time we actually need to make a decision.

Which leads me to the point that Bernie should just give it one last go if Biden chooses not to run, idc that he’ll be 127 years old by that point, if he wins, he’s president, if he loses, he can finally retire from congress.

The REAL point is that primary elections would be unnecessary if a truly democratic voting method were used in the November general election. Spoiling would be effectively eliminated if the general election voting method counts all the head-to-head majorities, which are what really matter because all preferences are relative preferences.

Only three candidates that I would vote for would be Elizabeth Warren , Bernie Sanders or Nina turner. The Biden administration has not filled its promises he backtracked on student loans promised he would cancel them he has the ability to take marijuana off schedule one. He’s kept many of trumps border policies that Democrats complained about and also by the way kids are still in cages so what is really the difference? That he just sounds better than Trump? We need a candidate to inspire many people.

Warren stabbed progressive policies in the back in 2020 and did a hard pivot to the center. Dont trust her, she's only looking out for herself.
She is willing to take corporate pac money, go back on campaign promises, and completely Pivot her political rhetoric if she makes it to a general election.
She's a grifter. She burned all of her good will with the left in the last election by stabbing them in the back and dropping every policy they cared about. Do not fall for her trick again.
Nina Turner and Bernie are both great though. i dont think Nina is going to run though, but it would be amazing if she did.
