- When the humans disappeared, nothing major changed. Not for the elves, anyway. They lost a powerful ally, but also a formidable adversary.
No one looked too carefully into the human’s disappearance. Sure, there were a few different individuals who were emotionally attached to humans who mourned them, but the rest of the population went on with their lives.
No one except the Elven Army, called Smokewalkers, even investigated.
No one cared, but no one forgot. Museums opened for human artifacts. Tours started for old human cities. And Human Studies became a class in Elven colleges.
You were the child of Human Studies professor. You grew up staring in awe at human art, walking with delight through human homes, and most especially, listening with wonder to human music.
You loved human music. As you grew, that love grew along with you.
When the time came to pick a major on college, the choice was easy.
You were in the library when you got the news. You stared blankly at the messenger before bursting into exclamations of joy.
A human! Alive and well! It was a miracle.
You waited, as patiently as you could, for the day when you could see them. Finally, it came.
All you wanted was to meet them, to speak to them, and maybe to ask them about music. But you would meet the human a lot sooner than you expected…

Second: I suppose so. I mean, the exposure of my existence definitely won't work in my favor - like the elf girl said, some may want to use me for less-than-noble purposes - but if the school's higher ups deem me to not be a threat, maybe the elven FBI will leave me be for a while.
Last human in a dominated elf world? Sounds like an epic concept to me..I wanna see a whole series of this

That's a level of survivor guilt that's haunting.
I would feel like 'am I really the best example of my race that could have survived?'
You walk into the school, your note books were heavy and full of information. As you walk, you think about the world before and how everything outside of this kingdom is death incarnate. You still carry a weapon, if a stray monster pops out of the shadows you'll be ready for it. Distracted by your thoughts, you bump into an Elf. Both of you fall, After an amount of apologizing you begin to learning about her, you see she's eager and ready to learn. You're eager to teach them all how to survive the outside world, and what humanity used to be like. Even if they aren't human, they sure act human enough to worry you. You would not have the same mistake made twice.

The voice works good, the ample lore is a nice touch.
I'll will admit, getting an Elvish amsr video pop in my feed that isn't at spending half of its time bashing humanity is a nice change of pace. Even if the point it that their opinion changes after awhile that cliche has been done to death, variety like this is nice.
Ps: definitely would appreciate a sequel (as I believe the rest would) but this a gem even on its own.

This was honestly a really good audio if not one of the best you have created so far, at least storywise in my opinion🥰. The description is as detailed as always and i loved reading it, it gave some information on what happened before you bumped into us. The story of the script is really interesting because normally humans are way weaker than elves and not so strong like in this universe, it definitely surprised me tbh. But i loved it even more because of it, and i loved how kind this elven girl is, normally they look down on us humans in every story so it was a nice change of pace for me🥰, i would definitely stay by her side because i know that she would stop these smokewalkers if necessary. a truly kind soul😌❤️. The voicing was top quality as always and the background music was beautiful, i think it didn’t quite fit to this scenario but i still liked it because it was relaxing and it had a nice mysterious touch to the story👌.

As I was presented with my options, I stood calmly yet stoic, as my mind wrested with the possibility. On one hand I would be on the run, hunted like a dog before I could tell my story, however on the other hand, I could present my case to the elven masters, and possibly seek refuge. In either scenario, the possibility of death was at both ends. I moments of final hesitation, I closed my eyes, and began making my to meeting hall, even deaths presence would not stop me from a possibile outcome to life. As the elf girl put, I would have been a waste to just kill; for I was the only currently, to answer the secrets and history of my kind. I shall accept my fate.

If this gets another part, I could see the human Listener trusting her enough to see the council with her. As well as seeing the two becoming close. Although I could see where after they spend time together, if other elves start showing interest then she might start getting a little jealous.
