28:45 Funny thing about Geo, they did nerf him when he could solo the Demon Lord. The reason he was so broken in Clan Boss was because he did an actual 3% EMHP proc on his passive, not like the fake 3% from Warmaster or HP burn. They only applied that nerf to Clan Boss and not all other content, like Iron Twins.. which is why he's so good.
Yeah I think the backlash over nerfing him twice would've been way too much for them xD

What a great video. I love that the Plarium team is so passionate about their game. I know they do some bonehead things, like have tournaments for rare champs where only the top player gets the champ, but overall I feel their intentions are good. That there are developers grinding at the same time as doing their job, just like I do, brought a grin to my face. Thank you for sharing this, even the octo dog, which I'm not sold on.

To address the FOMO, they could do some returning stuff. Like the Mikage soul. If you start playing Raid now, it would take you years to get Mikage, because there would be no missions for the epics and rares, as there is now. But if the return every year, with some of the same GOAT fusions and events, then new players would have a chance, and older players would not have the same degree of FOMO.
Could be like: every Christmas there is and old christmas fusion returning + the new one, and you can pick the one you are going for. Same for Halloween and Valentine etc.
I had same comment, but included guaranteed shard pulls as well.

3:35 soup in Poland is called Barszcz but its almost impossible to pronounce by nonnatives that way, yours borscht sounded quite close. Its probably the most known polish soup. (Ukraine and Poland have a lot of dishes in common), I could bet that everyone in Poland knows Barszcz. In Warsaw there are many fantastic places to visit, i hope u saw at least 1% and still loved the city

@@NubRaids its not the salt, is the fish overly salted, unfortunately you wouldn’t find a normally salted this kind of fish…. But you could avoid salt anywhere else, to compensate this with the fish….

There's plarium employees that are whales but no freebies or discount?! I dont like the idea of that for ao many reasons, lol.
As far as the rebalancing of champions taking a back seat to their timeline of producing new content, I don't see how they cannot be done at the same time. For example; we have new Smashlord rebalance coming soon. HisA2 cooldown is reduced by 1 turn and his A3 is changed. Does it really take that much time to change the coding for a champion to go from a 4 turn to a 3 turn. I know the A3 is a bit of a change, but I mean how much time does it really take to do those things? Planning, meetings, discussions, play testing for changes that are not gaming breaking seems like they should be finalized within a weeks time.
Uh, oh. Now, Plarium knows what you look like. Here's to hoping Plarium doesn't take you out for speaking truths.

I’d be interested to see if any of the devs have started a new account in the last few years. It might change their mindset a bit or open even more opportunities for improvements that they’re not thinking about currently.

At some level, you're selling a game you cover by nature because you're covering the game, and yes, you're doing it for money because it's part of your job, but that doesn't mean you're just mindlessly promoting something. You do good work Nub, and have helped inspire folks who hope to become better content creators as well as helped tens of thousands of players. Keep it up.

Interesting look behind the curtain about the devs. Also very interesting comment about you can play the game too much. Perhaps a bit less playing and a bit more champ rebalancing is needed for some of them at least 😉
Almost every content creator drops their critique over this game frequently. People will call you a shill if you're less salty and bitter or just more respectful than they are themselves.
It is ok that you are a shill, certainly better than contrarian. It offers you more opportunities and allows you to sway the decision-making of the game into better direction. No need to be too worried about it.

Im playing this game for like 1 year and i really really REALLY enjoy raid.. thanks for that! but i dont understand, how devs play their own game and see the market in the bastion is literally garbage (sorry for my words) and do nothing about it :/
Im playing for 4 years and I understand the frustration. But if you look at the big picture the Market is just not that important (obviously because they didn't touch it for years).
While market is the part of the game that definitely causes some frustration and needs a refresh, we can't see it just as the problem that is dedicated from everything else in the game. Raid's main focus is team building, dungeon farming and in-game progress and market has very small and supplementary role here. At the same time during the development it's always the choice what is more important right now: Tavern updates, new PvE content like Cursed city, new Quests or the market changes. As you may see even here it's clear that some updates impact players more than market. But I believe there will be market update someday )

Yeah, a lot of negativity around Plarium and content creators (that plarium cultivated). It's cool though that they made this award thing, something to give back to loyal ccs that honestly deserve their praise. And that thing about them wanting a bit of a "hardcore" game is pretty funny because how can it be hardcore when its p2w? That makes no sense when you can just outspend any barrier.
So for me it was between watching Rebel Moon part 2 and listening to you ramble on for 30 minutes... so it was an easy choice.
There was more story in you rambling for 3 minutes than in 120 minutes of Rebel Moon.
