I love it lol. Hela discard is already broken enough to be able to play 2-3 total cards throughout the entire match to discard other big stat cards then just drop Hela and win. It's absolutely busted and in my opinion, actually needs more of that "playing w fire" aspect to it to actually get the end game pop off to happen.

The Peak, most hated. If it comes up, it screws me over as completely as it can every time. While my opponent seems to either be playing Mr. Negative already or has things like 1/1 2/2 and 4/4 cards.

Came here for the Snap talk, got hit in the nostalgia feels with Linkin Park and Three Days Grace. Linkin Park to this day remains my most listened to band on Spotify. For as many years as I've been using Spotify. Linkin Park always reigns supreme. They really do have music that fits every genre. RIP Chester, pretty sure his music saved my life. Damn, really got feelsy in here.

Something that dawned on me for Namora were the Asgardians, where not only can she a back up to Jane where you can hit Thor and Beta Ray (if they're alone), but then if you have Odin, you can hit them again + more if you've drawn a hammer.
Even though Leech doesn’t sterilize your hand anymore, I still don’t think he has a place in Snap. I know they want him to be a balancing card but he’s way too indiscriminate. He’s effective at shutting down most combos in all kinds of decks. The only time when he’s not a problematic card is when he’s barely played, in which case he isn’t a deterrent.
I say give him the Spider-Man treatment and change his ability.
I was thinking it could work as a one lane control, in that it prevent the next card played by your opponent in that lane from working. Kind of a one off Echo that also affects On Reveals. Wiping an entire hand is too much power for the card.
Sanctorum is one of my favorite locations because with all the decks I play I can always put a card in there. If Leech and Rogue didn't exist I would snap on Sanctorum every time.
I play Negative with Wong, White Tiger; I play Patriot with Ultron, I play Negative with Wong, Black Panther, Zola, I play Hela and she's Hela, I play Phoenix Force, Shuri, Nimrod. I love Sanctorum lol.
I hate the location that stops you from adding cards to it on turns 3,4 and 5. That location is my problem
Having some reach in your deck or conceding you don’t should be a ongoing consideration of deck building anyways
Skeptical Namora will make a splash in the current meta.

@@MrLuizilla probably, hard to judge till we see her in action but still, with how often i see people with White Widow, Leech, Goblin and sometime Debrii, it is hard for me to see value in Namora yet.

Here’s a play line for Namora, supergiant into Namora into destroyer. Gives destroyer extra power assuming you had armor in one other lane that you’re winning. -edited to fix supergiant

Supergiant destroyer is some tea I was not expecting but will happily try out
IDK, I didn’t think much of Namora at first but I thought she was an ongoing. On reveal, +10. You can do a lot with that. She’s like a 5 cost Dr Doom you can keep proc’ing. I think she’s got some real vulnerabilities depending on the meta. I think she’ll be one of those cards that can go off if everything works out but isn’t gonna have the best win rate.
But there are options with On Reveal, even if you don't get everything. Wong-Namora, and if you don't draw Wong, then maybe Namora-Odin. I think she might scare some people at first.
Except by turn 5 its so easy to get your lanes filled. A single Debrii can ruin her ability. Best case you use her with Prof X but at that point you could also just drop Ms Marvel and Jeff.
For just +5 with the condition she has and being On-reveal in a Leech dominate meta, I really don't see a place for her.

@@RickReasonnz Wong, Namora, Odin is gonna give you +30 to whatever you have in the other lanes and isn't an unrealistic chain to pull off. The problem is she gets wrecked by a lot of meta cards and decks right now. Junk and Leach will ruin your game on top of all the usual tech cards. I think she's gonna have a rough launch. I think she's gonna play like early Living Tribunal or Mr. Negitive from about a year ago. Namora will wreck your opponent 25% of the time but usually eat shit.
@@ROFLWAFFLELAWL4 I built an Ironheart, White tiger, Namora deck that could care less about playing against junk. Shooting up the ranks pretty fast with it and I'm not coming across any decks that are consistently an issue. +10 power per proc is nothing to sneeze at, Namora my best performing card of the month.

cozy mentioning three days grace was something i never expected :o
They were going on about rock bands so 3 days grace is pretty standard. 3 days grace Linkin park and breaking Benjamin were like the big 3 of hard rock for awhile in early 2000's
Danger Room is only "75%" chance to kill your card when you aren't running destroy, then it's more like 5%. ;)
Alex loves only one location. The most he can muster beyond that is not minding locations.

I think whether or not Leech is balanced is unimportant. The fact that he’s meta-relevant at all significantly decreases the creativity and imagination of deck-building, directly reducing the most important aspect of any game, which is fun.

the thing you do with Namora is you play some version of Night Crawler, Jeff!, and/or Namora alone on their lanes and then Namora them into essentially 2 Visions which you can mind game people with... its a very strong play (not to mention you can: Jubilee or Leech into another lane followed by Blink into a Namora if you can... thats very strong.)
Hearing your guys' musical upbringing was awesome! I definitely lined up with Cozy, all the way up to EDM in college years. One question I have, you guys talked about video game soundtracks... my favorites of all time are the DOOM soundtracks (2016 and Eternal). Definitely scratches the metalhead itch but also the absence of lyrics helps for focus. I love those soundtracks, so much. Y'all ever jam to those??

I like Atillian with I'm playing a low cost card deck. I had a game the other day where my hand only had 1 card in it when the cards were shuffled so I basically got all my cards. I like it more when it pops up with energy boosting locations or cost reduction locations.

@Cozy, man I want you to know that everything Alex says at the end of this Snap Chat is true. I started watching snap videos because I stumbled on one of yours and could tell how genuine you are. And I'm glad I did because your videos are my favorites, and Alex has become maybe my favorite streamer. I love your attention to detail on your videos, especially the music, and man you just seem like the kind of guy I want to hang out and play games with.
Great show! Loved the discussions on locations and cards (more please!). Namora seems more versatile than I first thought. Some exciting cards coming in the near future. The time is ticking for Hela and the try-hards playing that low skill garbage. Leech surely will be changed once they've dealt with Hela and we can start cooking some real decks. What a great time time to be a Marvel Snap player!

I play Squirrel Girl just to get initiative early so I can play Armor/Cosmo on a lane to counter my opponent. It's an underrated card
Heimdal super underrated with Namora. Go wide early and then condense. WWBN, Namora, Heimdel is a great playline

I'm more on Alex's side regarding locations; there are so many I don't like, usually because my RNG is terrible or my opponent's is great.
I'm with Cozy on that Pixie at 2. She is the truth! Her cube equity ( as Alex mentioned) is arguably the best in the game. She got me to infinite last month with the LDS, Annihilation, and Pixie deck. This month I hit Infinite as well, with my first ever home brew with her in it. She is a cube stealer and most of all fun to play (imo.) I don't really play much once I hit infinite...last month with my home brew deck I went from 26k to10k ranking(in infinite) stealing wins with her. Very glad she exists in Marvel Snap!
The music of a game absolutely is that cherry on top that take a great game to a masterpiece (super Metroid/donkey Kong country/castlevania/zelda/undertale) the impact of nostalgia is everything

I have about 5 Decks with Her Built last Week
The whole Namora situation/combo that's gonna be great would be have those little mover cards alone and so on turn 6 you can move those cards/ move power whenever you want which can win games because of the randomness for your opponent to think about.
I'm surprised you guys still aren't mentioning Namora's synergy with Skaar

I have three video game soundtracks I listen to pretty often. Every Final fantasy game lol, Kingdom Hearts, and Halo. I do like some Gears of War stuff too.

As a heavy Cerebro-2 player, the location that sets every card to 2 power is awesome for Cerebro and Mystique, as well as for fixing your cards after some other location like The Peak screws you over. That said, Monster Island is the absolute worst for me
I'm hyped for Namora because she might give me reason to cook with my favorite early-game card; Colossus. A 2/8 that can't be neutralized is pretty good, and that's before you get to Wong/AbsMan/GM/Odin shenanigans
I genuinely love worldship, especially if it reveals turn 1. I wouldn't want it to be a common location, but its fun to once in a blue moon have a world ship game. Suddenly you are looking at your whole hand/deck thinking about what to do with only 4 slots.

Squirrel Girl into Blink on turn 6 in an Ultron deck is my new favorite combo because you’re guaranteed to pull the last big card in your deck
For me attillan is a Love it, its pretty much the only way to have a card re-enter your deck without you having to spend energy and card spot to put it there, your opponent plays a scorpion, well only one of the affected cards is in your hand, your death got spiderham'd, now you may not see her again. It can help you it can hurt you it can be neutral, but it definitely allows for some interesting scenario's. Sakaar also love it.

I think Namora Ultron could be interesting🤔 Playing something like dazzler, patriot, blue marvel, what have you in their own lane and then slapping down Namora to buff those single lanes and then Ultron to fill them up with buffed bots? Could be effective I think!
T2: Forge, T3 & T4: Shaw and Daken, T5: Namora, then T6: Killmonger shard and Silver surfer is 15 stacked lane, 24/28 Daken or 19 Shaw, and 20/24 Daken and 15 Shaw

I think perception on location is heavily affected by how much you play the game and whether you have all the cards. As a F2P casual player, I love the extra elements of randomness that keep the game varied for me (especially if I don’t have the current meta-defining cards to otherwise play with and I’m tired of running the same decks). If you’re a content creator or climber, randomness is your enemy so you’ll see it as a flaw in the game and look to eliminate it. Cozy was spot on about District X as a pseudo draft mode!
Cozy doesn't remember that Namor is in the game and he still has high hips for Namora. She reflects his ability perfectly. But he's really the best match for her with them both pushing having only Namor in a lane(which isn't smart with Shang Chi floating around)

Locations are meant to make things chaotic and unpredictable. hating a location is the intention, kind of. depends on your deck.
