    One of the final times an F1 car was used on the faster layout of Estoril. Presumambly teams had some testing there throughout the year too, but for the race the racetrack was altered, and subsequent years provided more changes to the track making it slower.

    Ta aí pra quem duvidava, uma das coisas que esclarecem o acidente. Da pra ver claramente que ele encosta as mãos no cockpit, foi por esse motivo que foi feito uma solta na barra de direção para alterar o tamanho de forma que ele não ficasse com as mãos apertadas e fizeram uma coisa mal feita e acabou no acidente fatal do nosso campeão =(

      Se fosse barra de direção ele teria pelo menos freado na reta!! Ele foi reto para o muro sem frear alguma coisa aconteceu com ele dentro do carro. Ou ele desmaiou perdeu o sentido, eu vi um vídeo em câmera lenta a cabeça do piloto declinou ele desmaiou antes da curva perdeu o sentido. Nenhuma perícia na época quiser investigar rolou grana para abafar o caso.

      Me perdoe, mas em todos os registros de telemetria está provado que o Ayrton freou sim. Inclusive ele até reduziu uma marcha.
      Quando ele sentiu que o carro perdeu o controle, tentou frear forte sim.

      Yes it is.
      Then it was replaced by the FW16 which is the car that took part in the 1994 season.

    The startup at 0:00 is during the 94 season, presumably Imola (because of the cut at the top of the cockpit), you can see the difference in the next shot when camera is at the top of the airbox

    Nesse vídeo da para ver claramente a mão raspando no cockpit, só de ver até eu fico incomodado, imagina quem pilota. Nesse vídeo também podemos fazer uma comparação do quanto mexe o volante, se olhar os botões amarelos do volante, eles mexem apenas para os lados, nem tem folga ou jogo no volante. Já em Ímola, se você olhar o mesmo botão da esquerda, da para ver que mexe para frente e para trás, tava muito nítido que foi mau feito.Ele inclina a cabeça, provavelmente reflexo momentâneo de bater no muro.

    which chassis is the one at the starting of the video? Definitely not the same of the other onboards, and not FW15D or FW16, due to that wide aperture above the steering wheel, when all the Williams had a V shaped very narrow aperture above it. I don't recall any Williams made like that one. [edit] it seems that after the first onboards, they made that cut folllowing Ayrton's difficulties to fit the cockpit. I did not know they modified a FW15D even before the FW16, that was narrow and V shaped again. I wonder why.

      O carro era do Prost, o Senna não entrava direito no carro. Além do mais o FW16 era basicamente o FW15 sem as bugigangas tecnológicas.

      @@DimitriMoreira FW16 tinha os Sidepods mais abertos, o que era exatamente o erro aerodinâmico do carro, o próprio Adrian Newey fala sobre isso no livro dele, tanto que no FW16B o Sidepod é menos e tem um escudo algo assim pra evitar a passagem de vento que estava desestabilizando o carro nas curvas!

      A verdade é que a Williams dormiu no ponto. Em 92 o carro era maravilhoso mas ela pegou todo mundo desprevenido. Em 93 o carro era melhor ainda mas a competição foi muito mais acirrada, todo mundo já tinha pegado o jeito. A aerodinâmica da Benetton já era inclusive superior, se não fosse o motor Ford com certeza o inexperiente Schumacher tinha dado uma canseira e no Prost aposentado. Em 94 foi mais do mesmo, mas a Ford melhorou o motor e a Benetton evoluiu bem enquanto a Williams achou que o motor sozinho ia garantir vitórias. O carro realmente não andava. O carro de final do ano era o melhor do grid, mas a Benetton já não desenvolvia o carro daquele ano e o Hill não tinha talento pra bater no Schumacher.
      Se o Senna tivesse dirigido aquele FW16 de final de ano, tinha ganho o campeonato até dormindo no Pit stop.

      In early 1994, two FW15C chassis were modified to run without electronic driving aids, which were banned for 1994. The FW15D was an interim car with passive suspension, and no traction control.

    Is that really a pre 1994 test with Senna onboard? Sure it's 1994 car but there's a twisty section at the end of the circuit introduced after Imola weekend. Look at 1:34 on the right, then the exit of this section some seconds later on.

      If you check carefully on Wikipedia at Williams FW15C page and scroll down to FW15D section you can see it’s Damon Hill test drive it, not Senna neither Coulthard.

      Esse no video era o FW-15D de 1993 era muito top, o que vc tá falando era o FW-16, este sim era bem instável

    The biggest problem with this car was due to the change in regulations that happened at the last minute, basically the regulations were about to be changed in the middle of the 1993 to 1994 season, which removed electronic technologies that served as assistance, such as ABS brakes, traction control and the active suspension of the FW14. These changes to the regulations were made at the end of the 1993 season to the beginning of the 1994 season, which did not give teams time to build cars that were balanced and fast for the 1994 season; In conclusion, Williams which had a car dependent on electronic technologies, was unable to produce a car in time for the beginning of 1994, which resulted in an extremely unbalanced car. The pole positions that Senna achieved in the first races were unbelievable.
    Remembering that years later Adrian Newey said that the car was really rubbish.

    Was this the first use of the modern T-Cam? The T-Cam that became popular in 1996 and replaced the side onboard camera. Also isn't it funny how empty F1 tracks look during the off season, the lack of branding, props and fans is very noticeable

    Whoever set up the audio equipment on this should've kicked the TV broadcast setup crew off their jobs. TV feed onboard audio was lousy for 93-94 and this is fantastic.

    Há rumores que esse carro era o chassi do Andrea Moda de 1991 foi apenas montado o motor Renault V10 nele por isso o projeto era instável só concertaram depois que Senna morreu. Eles fizeram tudo para matar o Senna pois sabiam se nesse carro ruim ele voava imagine se ele tivesse o mesmo chassi de 1992 e 1993 da Willians e note em todos os vídeos como esse carro saia de frente.
    Amigos deram uma carroça de 1991desfarçada e maquiada a ele.
    Tinha gente grande interessada em tirar ele da F1.

      @@werdbastard431 the corner was dangerous because there was no run off in the event of a car failure. Any F1 car especially back then, took Tamburelo completely flat out.
      Far less refined F1 cars from 1980 (when F1 debuted at Imola) were taking it absolutely flat in the dry, so the car being difficult to drive at the limit had nothing to do with the crash. Zero.
      Senna had a car failure and that's all there is to it. Berger in 1989 had a front wing failure, Roland had a failure, Piquet had a tire failure in 1987. All the accidents at the Tamburelo section were from car failures.
