I've heard both German and French style... I LOVE the sound of French contrabassoon. It's so colorful!
Looks and sounds beautiful! I love this style of contrabassoon, it projects the sound so well and looks cool to boot. Great playing as well 😄

very nice instrument! I play an Amati contrabassoon , but never played french contrabassoon. I would like to play both instruments

Buffet makes the best bassoons. Way better than Heckel clarinet's.
