How tight are the brackets against the grooves on the tank? Do the brackets touch the tank at all? I wonder if they'd rub holes into the tank over time.

The tank brackets are tight at the top and bottom enough so that it doesnt move side to side.

Nice vid.
But don’t really understand why the tank is designed to sit as high as it does. Raises the centre of gravity. Tank could sit on the tub floor, which would be a lot lower.

thats what i thought at first and planned to put a 15gal. in the bed, but it saved room, and when fully filled i dont even notice while driving.
