Had a tasting at river Roots and had a malted whiskey out of California 13 years old and it was 153 proof best whiskey I’ve ever tasted in my 40 + years of drinking. It drank like a 110 proof had dark cherry coke and lemon pound cake on the nose and palate finish lasted for ever. They had some on seelbach and it sold out in minutes. My group are doing a barrel pick soon there can’t wait.

Why source barrels from a sourcer? Next time you go to Ohio you should go to Columbus and visit actual Ohio distilleries making great bourbon/whiskey from Ohio corn. Like Middle West, Watershed, High Bank. River Roots is a rip off.
