My old dance studio dances there every other year. We go in May and it's a blast! We got to dance in the Christmas Parade in 2014

I went to Tokyo Disney in the middle of August a few years ago. So shocked how easy it was to get on anything. It was super hot so water rides and concessions were busy, but I think one ride estimated an hour wait and still wasn't that bad.
Rhett and Link seem to be good parents. They seriously would do anything for their families. Well, that's what I conclude from watching their videos, anyway.
We go 2nd week in Dec. Lowest crowds all the time
Pretty important to check the busiest dates for Disneyland before going. It's amazing during sept/october weekdays.
Don't tell the people of youtube that!

My senior class trip is to Disney world! I'm so excited! I've never been on a plane or gone to Disney before! I just hope I get enough money to go!!!
I live an hour away from Disneyland. The best time of the year is the first or second week of November -- during a weekday. School is in session and parents are less likely to pull children out of school so close to Thanksgiving break. The weather is temperate -- neither hot nor cold. I can average 10-13 rides in a single day.
But I also recommend a three-day trip. You can ride your favorite rides (or attractions) a couple of times and still have a full day for California Adventures. I usually try for Mon-Wed or Tue-Thur stint
Growing up in Florida I would always hear this rule of theme parks: Don't go in the summer -- nor, as Rhett learned, during spring break season. Whenever someone I knew was going to Disney, it was in February.

We have always had great experiences at Disneyland! We get in line before opening and ride all our favorites with out long lines, get fast passes, for others,and have a great time!

I was actually just at Disneyland this last weekend for a band trip. It was amazing, but a couple rides did break down. We were waiting in line for Pirates of the Caribbean for an hour, right before we were about to get on it broke down, so we left and went to the haunted mansion. While we were on it it broke down for half an hour... Yep, that was frustrating. But the rest of the trip was amazing! And may I suggest the next time you go it's between October and December? That's when they have the Haunted Mansion ride look like "The Nightmare before Christmas"
Rhett, I'm so sorry your first trip was a half-flunk. You made lotsa rookie mistakes. Lucky for you, plenty of the mythical beasts are Disney veterans and can help you next time you plan your trip. The most important tip I can give you is this: Don't go to the block out days. Those are typically on holidays, spring break, and summer break. What do they have in common? No school. As homeschoolers, we take advantage of days when school is on because the rides are 45 min wait at the worst. Best of luck with your next trip!
Ah, the advantages of homeschooling. My parents and I just went on a week trip to Italy in the middle of the school year.

My Disneyland trip was horrible!!!! Its was raining the WHOLE time and I came there for HOTNESS!
California is in a drought, so that's just bad luck.
When I went to disneyland, it was mid November. I managed to go on the tower of terror 15 times in one day. I also went on the California screamin' twice in 30 minutes.
When my cousin and I were in Disneyworld we were about to get a fast pass for test track and a crew member behind us was all like I can take you through the fast pass line for free.
I've always loved Disneyland and California Adventure, even when its really crowded. It's about the nostalgia, and the music, and the enviroment. I was pretty much raised in Disneyland, I remember when California Adventure was built! That place means a lot to me. Also, if you're looking for a really fun time, go with ONE very good friend. You move faster, and its easier to get on rides :)
Big thunder mountain is the WORST WAIT ever.
I know the feels Rhett. I've been to Disneyworld 4 times, but the last time I went it was total crap. The employees weren't as nice, it was crazy crowded(in the middle of January may I add), they completely screwed up the fast pass system they had, and I swear 3-4 rides we were in line for had broken down. We had a package thing since we were there for a week, but I didn't think it was worth the money anymore
My Honeymoon at Disney World is next month amd I'm super excited!
I'm telling you right now Disney World is so much better and there's a lot more to see. Since it's so big they're usually really organized. I've been going since I was little. I'm in my 20's now and it's still fun to go with friends and family.

Whenever we go to Disney World we have everything figured out already. I know a person who works there so I know the secrets to get free fast passes with the bands and so basically we can get every park done and ride every ride in one day. Thats at Disney World
We had a very similar experience with Disney world!!! And never again am I wasting my money on the single day ticket!!
usually when Disney Land is crowded, they will shut down rides for the people to take breaks and let the ride breath :) cause i have been with season passes for the 60 aniversarry and i only went on 2 rides, no even mentioning the line :(
Omg,hearing that he went during spring break killed me. It's common sense: when everybody else is gonna go on vacation,don't follow the crowd!

september is a good time to go at least for Disney World! but i you go to Universal Orlando during spring break its not so bad

We went to Disney world during the summer which is really peak season we didn't use a single fast pass and stayed on Disney property so we got an extra hour in the morning and night.
There really didn't seem like too many people and we rode a lot of rides. It worked out Fantastic for us 😂
We encountered some similar technical issues with our Fastpasses during my senior band trip to Disney three months ago. Splash Mountain was also closed on several occasions, none of which we were in line for, fortunately. But all in all, that Disney trip was one of my most favorite and treasured memories during my last year of high school, so much so that I was compelled to write a memoir to document the experience!
I live in Australia, and the only place overseas I've ever been is Fiji. For 7 days. So yeah, the chances of me going to America and to Disney are very unlikely.

I used to have an annual pass, this is every weekend/holiday/summer.
I only have one solution to one of those problems. Use a hotel, do the BUS. Soooooooo much faster.
OMG did you go on the day with all of the power outs!? Me and my family went and we couldn't get on any rides because there were so many consecutive power outs I guess 😓😤😭

they went to disneyland which is small, thus making it more crowded..disneyworld is much better as the crowd is more spread across 4parks and 2 water parks

I was just at Disney and every thing was open Monday through Thursday except for soar on then on Friday Expidetion Everest was caused half of the day still got to ride 3times though
I have had Good and Bad trips to disney, since i live less three hours in a car to there.
The best way to get on all the greatest ride: USE SINGLE RIDER! Once I got a seat next to Drake Bell with single rider, thanks disney!

When we went to disney land we went to the cars ride... We waited in the line for about three hours then we get on the ride and its twenty seconds long.
Hey I saw you at Disneyland that day in the morning. You went to get coffee at Market House(Starbucks). I sent you the other line that was shorter, I knew you looked familiar. Anyways the best time to go to Disneyland is after the winter season, like in January, a week after New Year's. It's completely dead. My source? I work there.
February and October are the best months to go

I went to Cedar Point for a trip done by the school (not a field trip) and we only had till I think 8pm and my friends and I decided to get in line for Melenium Force (we were almost halfway through our time). We stood in line for a half hour and the ride I guess kept breaking or something (really didn't say) and it was sprinklig on and off. As we were standing in line, the tornado siren went off so we were all told to go into the bathrooms and wait it out. That waiting probably took another half hour and once we could finally walk around again, all the rides were closed from the rain except the power tower and we wouldn't have had time to ride it anyway

I waited for 3 hours for a MIB. Ride and guess what AS SOON AS WE WHERE AT THE FRONT THEY CLOSED IT

Gotta call a little bs on this one lol. From being to disneyland a whole bunch of times i can they never tell u to walk out of line. They tell u that thats one of ur options but u can stay in line abd usually things are fixed in kess the ten minutes plus u end up moving to the ride super fast bc of all the people like this guy that end uo actually leaving lol.
I do feel bad however that he bought the socal pass bc i think its blocked out all summer....hahaha
This 100% happened to me.
***** BS was the wrong term. I'm sure this happened to him. I just meant if you stay at the ride for about 10 minutes it reopens and usually you can walk straight back up to the ride. Rarely does disney shut down rides for longer thats 15-20 minutes because that's a break that the ride operators dont have in their contract lol

Disney is so expensive and waiting in lines that you didn't get to ride, makes it not a worthy place to go. You should sue Disney.

My mom has a premium and my sister and I have annual passes. Disneyland's wonderful but they've gotten so crowded lately. =( but I'm going real soon so maybe I'll see you there! ^_^

HAHAHAHA! dude im sorry.. this happens ALOT at Disneyland/californa Adventures... i live like 5 mins from the park. Used to work for the mouse, i used to go to the park alot an u picked one of the busy'st times of the year to go... an the rides do go down (alot).there not much you much you can do besides try somewhere in the park.

There's a place in Main Street that you can go and complain about that kind of stuff in the park. I had a similar experience with family and my uncle complained and ended up getting us three passes to get onto three rides. Not just fast passes, but INSTA-LINE SKIP with no waiting involved. Disney knows how to treat their customers to an extent.
