My neighbor is/was a peeper. I used to live in the city and for years my window faced a brick wall in an ally. When I moved to my new house, in the middle of the night without thinking, I got up and tried to shut my window. It was stuck so I stood and fussed with it for about 2 or three minutes. Suddenly, the pitch black was interrupted by the bright glow of someone smoking a cigarette in my driveway. That's when I fully woke up and realized not only was I standing topless in the window, but my neighbor was standing in my yard watching me. Later I realized he had developed a habit of coming to my yard and watching me. For months I would find cigarette butts in my driveway. I was too scared to confront him, so I got a dog. Last summer I was in my back yard when my dog went mental, started barking and growling and charged at the fence. I saw the outline of a man, falling backwards. He was peeping through his side of the fence! I haven't noticed him peeping again. I've lived here for years and we never ever speak with the neighbors. It's too creepy and I'm too scared.
You should set some mouse/coyote traps for him, that is creepy!
Considering I work in law enforcement I can promise you I wouldnt be surprised by the amount of B&E cases that are robberies.
Yes tasers and mace work fine most of the time, but not as often as you would like to think. This individual is peeping through her windows to get a look at her not her belongings and I bet if he comes into the house it wont be to walk away with her flat screen tv. If she were to fall victim of a sexual crime, her life will never be the same. I see it frequently, people are ALMOST raped, and they are still severely traumatized.
If this guys peeping escalates to something more serious, he should not be taught a lesson he should be eliminated. Sexual predators are the worst kind of scum, and they rarely change their ways.

+420 Gal Next time you suspect him peeping, call the cops. Don't let some perv let you live in fear. You should also tell your parents about it. Maybe they could put up a solid fence or something so he can't look in; or like Link's neighbour: a flood light. That would scare him off quick if a bright light came on every time he tried to come into your yard.

All my neighbors are fine and quiet, even the house with the kids, but there's this one guy who has an obsession with revving his cars engine. It's not like he's fixing it or putting in mods or anything, he literally just goes outside every few hours, revs it then goes back to what he was doing. All throughout the day and night. And if he's home he just sits on the porch and watches it. The police have been called like 4 times by other people but no dice.

I had a neighbor who was making heroin in her house. She lived there with a bunch of random people, including her boyfriend and her freakin 5 year old daughter. I'm not sure how the police found out, but I'm pretty sure everyone left the house and then someone came in and found needles and crap laying all over the floor and called the cops. There's a dirt road on our land that we let them use to get to their house easier, but they ended up completely tearing it up and we had to put a fence up just to stop them from using it. The daughter came over to our house almost everyday to play, and now I can see why. I don't see how a parent could let their child live in an environment like that.
I don't know why but the term "peeping tom" or "peeper" makes me laugh.
At my current apartment; I had drove back home to find a fully armored Police Vehicle and a patrol car parked outside my building. Turns out, they were searching my next door neighbors apartment. So I heard police flipping the unit next to mine, the entire afternoon. No explanation was given.
Did you ask? That would have been terrifying. Not the asking, but police searching next door.

It was... different. Nope, I didn't ask because they didn't even clarify to the apartment management exactly why, or what they were searching for.
The suspicion is that he had an unclaimed squatter living with him who was in 'legal trouble'.

We have that house in my neighborhood! I live in a cul de sac too and the house to our left was for the longest time had renters in and out all the time. There were people that lived there for over a year though and they were the worst: they had broken cars in a yard, road motorcycles up and down the road everyday, had a grow house in the back, and basically destroyed the property. Eventually the owners finally came and kicked them out and have been trying to sell the house. The rest of our neighborhood is blessedly quiet luckily. Strange, but quiet.
I know it’s so rare for them to see comments on a video from so long ago, but Rhett & Link (and crew!) are just the best. Even when I’m having a really depressive episode, they can always make me laugh.
So thank you guys so much. I hope you know how much you help people!!!
For all those who want to skip the extended Today esque edition of Wheel of Mythicality, skip to 2:52 for the Nightmare Neighbors segment. I think that's the longest they've ever taken to get to the point. I was like, for those near three minutes, like the characters from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. "GET ON WITH IT!!!"

Link, your neighbor's response about being able to help you the next day when you asked him if he could help you with some wood work was not "rude" or "unfriendly" as you seem to think it was.
Offering to help a neighbor doing something one day after being asked is definitely not an unreasonable amount of time, people have lives and can't just drop everything instantly just because you ask them to. It would have been better on your part to ask maybe a couple days in advance at least, rather than asking that day for something you needed done the next morning.
Maybe It wasn't what his neighbour said but how he said it that made him seem unfriendly

Just a note, but I believe the grew up in a smaller town. Generally smaller towns have the drop everything and help kind of attitude.

There's this one house on my street that seems to have a constant rotation of people living there. When I first moved in, it was a group of prostitutes with a pet duck. Classic.

We had a neighbour that hated our cat so much because he made their elderly cat poop itself in fear if he went near it. They managed to catch our cat several times and each time they did so they rubbed there cats poop all through his fur. On a few occasions they threw rocks onto our property that had disinfectant all over them, we dont know why they through the rocks.

We have a house like that in my neighborhood. My dad says that they're owned by the gov and they let people who need help finding/affording a place to stay live there. But this is for all of you, don't judge people just because of what you haven't seen. They could be in some sort of situation you could have never imagined. So accept an love all.

I've had a pair of horrible neighbors both in the same house both with incessantly barking dogs. I complained about both until one couple bought a shock collar and built a fence and the other moved...

I live in a quart too and the people who live to the left of us are always changing and really weird too.
That's so weird! We have a left-side house/neighbors just like that! There is always someone different there, they are always really private, and they have a spotlight!
When I still lived at home there were several houses like that around the neighborhood. I always told my friends that they were haunted.
i feel like rhett has grown attached to the phrase "comes in full circle" in a lot of episodes this season.
what happens is some are owned by real estate companies and thats when they get the info that it is vacant. So the agent who shows that house will tell friends family it is vacant and not show the house for potential renters .. but its usually temporary, these people must have stayed to long. I heard alot of that was goin on in the LA area a few years back.. crazy! Love you guys XOOXO
I have these horrible neighbors. There have been many incidents. One time, i was walking my dog, and he pooped in there yard, and I picked it up, but they ran over to our house, and told my mom that our dog pooped in their yard, and told us to go hose it down. Like WHY CANT YOU DO IT YOURSELF WOMAN!!! And she's always looking out her window, and she's like 40 and lives with her mother. Once my brother was riding his bike and accidentally went a little bit on her yard, and she came out and started screaming at him. There have been so many more incidents, and they are just really rude.
Link is always funny! I don’t understand the regular insinuation that Rhett (often by Rhett) is the funniest of the two. I beg to differ! Link is hilarious!!
I had a 40 ear old room mate who was a compulsive peeping tom. As soon as I found out he was kicked out of the house.

At one point a couple drug dealers moved in the adjacent duplex to mine. I don't think my vents will ever smell normal again. At least they were eventually arrested and thrown out.

When our neighbors' son was like 5 or so, he would scream, "My name's Coconut!!" over and over, whenever we walked our dogs around the neighborhood. It's probably the oddest encounter I've had with neighbors.

It’s crazy to hear his story because the house next the my parents house where I grew up is kinda the same way.Every time ppl moved in they dnt stay long and they were usually private and didn’t talk to other neighbors also I never saw a for rent/sale sign after somebody would move out
We had a neighbor who lived in a trailer filled with a ton of animals. It was annoying because their dogs would always get loose and run around in our yard. They also had pigeons that flew around. And one time one of their dogs chased their chicken into our yard and tore it to pieces. Everyone in the neighborhood had the number for animal control and they came out many times. Them jerks got fined.
