They play hard, but their slow except for McDonald and Dangerfield their quick, but tiny. Rickea Jackson needs to be in the conversation for r.o.t.y. she is playing lights out! That was a good game.
You are correct in everything you just posted and I was about to post the same comments. More particular in the backcourt we need someone who can take the bull by the horns and be the point guard. My girls will sometimes get rattled and play erratic for lengthy periods and they let the game slip away from us. Hopefully by this time next year people will be talking about my Sparks in terms of championship contender. But, no matter how many times my girls break my heart 💔, I still love my Sparks ❤❤
The problem with this team is the head coach is awful in his rotations, especially at the guards . Sit Kia Nurse and make Zia Cooke and Burrell your backcourt with McDonald being your Sixth Woman.
Spark needs to shoot more 3s. And they need an athletic guard like Kelsey Mitchell of Indiana Fever or Chennedy Carter of Chicago Sky. The team is solid.
True we do have a trouble finishing game like when we blew a 14 point lead in the 4th quarter against the mystics or when we blew a 15 point lead to the aces but we made it up and won in overtime
I ain't mad at the Sparks honestly. They are good they just need to work on their defense and their ability to shoot instead of being wide open to shoot but scared then pass the ball to either Hamby, McDonald, Burrell or Jackson who are heavily guarded, risking a turnover.
