    The torque spec quick reference guide, speaks volumes about your workmanship standards. Interesting setup. Cheers 👍

    I started a mobile ser:ice too . I found a 1978 snap on box . I run a 96 chevy pickup. I post on next door app and get a ton of calls. I might make a tour video . Theres not alot of options for mobile mechanics so its cool seeing what other guys are doing

      Everyone has their own super unique mobile setups. I'd recommend posting a video, it will probably help someone out.

    Kevin-Albert Williams youtube channel, check it out. He's a mobile mechanic doing only clutch changes in the UK. Watch some of his videos and find the video where he goes through how his van is set up. He's skilled and efficient. Good luck with your business. I would consider adding a small oxy/acetylene tank and torch set up for stubborn bolts and stuck rotors/drums.

    I'm a contractor and I would pay for someone like you to come do oil changes on my trucks while at the job site. would be a shitload less downtime and hassle for me and Im sure most companies. Just something to consider.

    Nice start, good luck moving forward. What trade qualifications do you need and what kind of liability insurance and cost

    • @rodrawlings2204
      @rodrawlings2204 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Insurance? We dont need no stinking insurance. Most of us consider this "side work" even though its the only thing we do. Me personally i got tired of working for shops and getting screwd out of money due to the flat rate pay system. Plus i have a hard time dealing with jerky bossy types. And honestly if Something i did damaged something i would make the repair for free but ofcourse get paid for the job. People like hovering around while i work . It seems like they like learning how things work, or there making sure im not going ro steal their car haha

    @ Enos Weaver I’m a general mechanic who is trying to move into doing brakes only. Do you offer other services as well or do you strictly perform mobile brake work?

    • @the_brakes_guy

      I do some other things like wheel hub assemblies, shocks/struts, batteries, belts etc. on a regular basis. I take on some bigger jobs when I’m not super busy. My goal is to do brake service only, but my business is still newer and only doing it full time 3 month now, so until I’m better established I’ll do some other things! No excuse to not do something!!

      @@the_brakes_guy ok cool. That’s my goal in my area as well. I want to convert over to predominately servicing brakes. Lower overhead and faster turn around. Good luck and that’s for the info/motivation.

    Best setup I’ve seen dude you give me inspiration! I’m starting out also giving me ideas on what I need to get? To start out?? I’ve subscribed definitely!!

      Thank you! Honestly, my recommendation starting out is to start with your typical basic tools. You can complete most jobs with basic tools but as you get into it more, you’ll know what specialty tools, power tools etc will help you finish jobs quickly! Get your LLC and take care of your taxes and book keeping!
