Qian Long is the most popular emperor in Chinese historical drama other than Qin Shi Huang. I saw the artsy things during his reign in HK Palace Museum, such a man of taste ✨️ I wonder whether those robbers got accursed after opened those tombs and coffins. Is there any story from locals?
Step-Empress Nara's burial place is not recorded in the Qing Dynasty archives, which has always been a mystery. Qianlong's concubines had a cemetery where 36 concubines were buried. Then, these tombs were robbed. In one of the tombs, people found two coffins. It turned out that one of them was the coffin of the step-empress, which was placed in the tomb of another concubine. I will make an episode about this Concubine Cemetery in the future.
Emperor Qianlong ordered Manchu people's History book to be written in the year 1777. and according to this book, 欽定滿洲源流考 , Manchu People are descendants of Silla Kingdom. Silla was a Korean Kingdom that existed between 1st Century BC to 10th Century AD.
@@LaoWang624 There are a few Chinese archaeological channels showing some of the most interesting archaeological finds but only spoken in Chinese, if you can get a few of these and put your voice in English and translate some of the contents and your own inputs(ie new info or comments) it would be even more interesting.
interesting there a study of the Qing dynasty from another video, seems like they switch to buddhism after America come over, it was previously portugese influenced dynasty .
It's just a movie, don't get carried away 😄 We don't know what really happened in real life.. Both Ruyi and Yanxi portrayed different character of Nara step empress
Another great and informative video.
Your channel is going to grow enormously.
Thank you so much~😃
Agreed!

So sad the dynasty fell. Can you do a piece on the step empress ? Where is she buried ?
Oh you mean ruyi. I don't remember where. She was erased from all records and history.
Haha, yes, Ruyi, thank you for reminding me. I didn’t realize who he was talking about at first.😂

Interesting story, as usual, could be longer.
Thank you~ There are indeed some details that I haven’t mentioned yet. I will make a separate video about this tomb robbery.😃

Who initiated the tomb robbing? 🤔😡
Sun Dianying ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_Dianying )

Great pity to those that were buried with him. Were they forced to be buried alive for his sake?.
These empresses and concubines all died earlier than Qianlong, and Qianlong's coffin was the last one to arrive, then, the tomb was sealed.
This emperor I don't like because he was mean to ruyi. So much she cut her hair and I don't blame her.
😀
