9:40 the reason that works is because holding the p-switch doesn’t allow you to duck, which is slower than staying neutral. There was enough time in each room for the other p-switch to be activated the first time because you didn't enter the pipe fast enough to avoid the activation.
The chain chomp breaking away was in the original super Mario Bros 3. You had to wait like I think it was 30 seconds and he'll break away from his post and start chasing you. If somebody else already mentioned this I'm sorry
@@StanKwiecien, no, it's actually because the game counts exactly 250 seconds since the level was started (or since the Chain Chomp spawned) before freeing the Chain Chomp. So, it doesn't count the number of bounces, but how much time passed away since the Chain Chomp appeared on the screen. The fact that it takes 250 seconds for the Chain Chomp to break free, which holy crap, it's literally half of the max time Mario can stay in a level before the timer kills him, makes me think the Chain Chomp breaking free animation is more like an in-game easter egg rather than a mechanic meant to be discovered early, because why would someone waste 250 seconds with a Chain Chomp on the screen, expecting something cool to happen? Therefore, I prefer to call this an easter egg, just like the mechanic where you chrouch on a white semisolid platform before Mario does his legendary fart!

Wow, that grab and jump reminds me of the tech from original SNES Mario. It was possible (though for most people just with TAS) to repeatedly grab/jump with a key, making it, as one TASer described it, "a portable piece of ground".

WARNING !!! if your making glitch lvls and Nintedno delete them for the 3rd time, your SMM2 account will be reseting, except your multiplayer versus rank ( that happend by me now ) !!!! he DGR, thx for playing my lvl. i placed some glitched, well new, some glitcheds arent new, but after i saw someone played, i didnt even like it. but im not gonna delete it. sry for the maze. there was an other glitch after the cp. but it didnt work so that was delete. by the plant and kamek, the plan was to non-stop the plant grows, but some how i didnt even work anymore, i did work.

Hey DGR hope you see this. Not sure what happened but this video had an audio issue for me on mobile. It was heavy on the left side for balance. I even fully restarted TH-cam and it continued so I don’t know if it was an upload error or what but it happened about at 5:30 or so.
Some glitches I have found is snake blocks when activated are affected by conveyor belts. When a snake travels beneath one and wraps up it is slowed to about 0.22 seconds. Which only reason I know that is because I was making a precise thing time... and then when I added conveyor belt suddenly all the timing was off. Deleted it and it fixed it. Which is weird since the Conveyor belt and the snake block shouldn't interact.. lol.. Another glitch is he position of doors control how screens lock... so when na wall is locked between many other walls it can lock. tis dependent o note wall thickness and the top 4 block spaces... so by controlling this when going through the door or retarrting at a check point put in this location, it changes where the rooms are scroll locked. IE, on the right or the left.
That Just Wait level where the ChainChomp gets loose even works in the original NES Super Mario 3. If you let him lunge, like, 50 times, he'll break loose.
Another great Uno Mas video1 but that mid-air shell jump tech was in the game since day 1, anyone else surprised DGR didn't know that? none the less, It's not common but it is common to see a great DGR vid :))
The chain chomp breaking free from the peg 28:12 is just a reference to the actual SMB3 game. In SMB3 if you waited near a chain chomp long enough, it would break free as an Easter egg. It's not as much of an Uno Mas as it is intended to be in the game.

Kind of random but can someone tell me if there's a full version of the Choke city on mario song that was used in the no damage run compilation from 4 years ago. I could only find an unfinished version on SoundCloud and I would much appreciate some help.
Slopes are super janky, always have been in Mario games. If there's slopes in a Mario game, you can bet at least one slope in the game has some sort of glitch tied to it. Such as in New Super Mario Bros (NDS), where there's a completely useless glitch in one of the levels, where there's a slope partially submerged into water. If you do a certain thing on the correct part of the slope to trigger the glitch, Mario will slide backwards continuously till you cancel the glitch. Completely useless as a glitch, but it's there. Slopes being janky in Mario games is the reason we didn't get slopes in Mario Maker 1, at least that's what I think anyways. My theory why slopes are janky, is because, everything in mainline 2D Mario games, follows a grid format, even when using 3D assets in the levels. And since slopes cause a split in one of those squares in that invisible grid, the game gets confused because the grid format is tampered with, leading to these slope glitches. We've all seen that Mario Maker glitch long ago, where Bowser can go hyperspeed between two slopes, that too I believe is due to the grid system being tampered with via slopes

Fun Fact: thwomps are the only non-boss enemy that dies below the screen.
Also, spiketops are beetles while spinies are koopas/turtles.
The beetIes in Mario are not actually beetIes. They are a type of koopa.

The reason the p-switch didn't get activated when holding an item is simply because you're slightly faster since you don't duck slide.

On the squish down to size level where you keep the hats is it just me, or does the small Mario look even smaller than he should!!!
