    I see no problem with the interview. In as much you can respond to questions, it is good to keep at your own paste. Self
    and quick correction during presentation is always the best. This is what George Weah did and I love the interview. Have yours so we too can compare notes.

    Liberians are not English people. They have their own languages and must not speak English like an Englishman. I don't know why people are often so biased towards others. Who Weah is in his "illiteracy" as some people put it is more than what some people are and will ever be with all their education.

    People are too over-critical. Why criticize George Weah?

    He played football untill he was 40 years old and now is elected president. No university education, no political background etc. Liberia is rolling the dice on this guy. A leap in the dark. Good luck

      we Liberian are paying the price now. He has gained a reputation for killing critics. The deaths of the internal Liberian Auditors is an example.

    I'm not appalled by your successful attempt to clearly advertise your ignorance. If I haven't talked with many Liberians, how did I know they have these faults? Have you ever sighted the country's latest illiteracy rate? You sound unfamiliar with liberians. If you listen to the gentleman in the interview, you don't only sense his lack of education, you sense his impoverishment at articulation as well. For example, he makes difficult to sound like divid cur; his next even sounds like ness. Please take your problem begging elsewhere.

      How many Liberians have you interacted with? Which nationality are you? Your English writing skill is very bad. You can't spell the word Liberians and you're degrading a whole country through your ignorance. Please clean your bathroom before telling someone else's to do theirs. Stop being ethnocentric!

    • @Blessedheartedly
      @Blessedheartedly 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kangar Smith you entrapped yourself. you saw that there were two spellings of Liberians in my comments: one was correct and the other wasn't. That should have made you cognizant of its being typographic error. You went beyond the peripheries of reasoning to say I'm bad at spellings. Ridiculous! well, you disclosed your limitation, dear. How in the English language you would add apostrophe to the word "else" when it is not indicative of possession?
      And how many Liberians have I interacted with? A countless lot. I have been to Liberia (giggling). I know wologisi is in Lofa county. I have been to voinjama, Gbarnga, sanniquellie, Ganta, Buchanan, Kakata, Zorzor and so forth. I know a lot about Liberia more than you. yes, you heard me.
      So, please, don't label me as a person who is belittling Liberia. It is the oldest republic in Africa. It has great history. I love Liberia and Liberians. I was just simply stating the fact. I will never decry Liberia. Maybe I should've worded my comment rather differently.

      Kangar Smith And you even said my English writing skill is bad. Are you kidding me? Is it because I know French? Dear, you can't race me in English composition. I can say this unabashedly. I'm invincible when it comes to that.

    • @citizenoftheworld7386
      @citizenoftheworld7386 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Your writing tells me that, you are from a French speaking nation. Moreover, you don't know Liberians and Liberia well. Just have a quiet!

    that verb "lose" is a trouble for many liberians who didn't make it to high school. They pronounce as if it is spelled l-o-s-t when they use it in its present tense. In fact, it is not the only verb that causes trouble in common liberian English...

      +musiclovingheart merciDIEU Fascinating comment. I surely disagree with you. By you using the word many shows your level of ignorance. Have you talked to "many" Liberians? Assumptions lead to ignorance.

    • @kekelauren6251
      @kekelauren6251 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      HenryJ TV Don't be like that lol. You know that the word "lost" is a basic part of Liberian colloquial.
      "Take time you keep that money before it lost"
      "Oh, mama sorry, the money lost"
      "Ay you boy, you na lost my money again?"
      This is not assumptions, it's just how we talk. it's what makes us unique. But we should learn the standard English too so when we go out there, we can function well.

    • @Blessedheartedly
      @Blessedheartedly 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am not assuming, Henry. If there is any sign of assumption here, it belongs to you...I have talked to many Liberians. In fact there are more illiterate Liberians than literate ones. Weah belongs to the former...I bet you know the literacy rate in Liberia; hence, tell me how I am voicing assumption. Next time, don't assume that another person is assuming. It will unveil your meager level of ignorance.

      Its alright to listen to other Africans speak broken english,or what is cal english, but, when it comas to Liberians we should be good at English??
