Too many to name but recently off the top of my head: French Listening Journey (A1-A2 stories), Learn French with Alexa, Learn French with escargot (lists of nouns, which I love - word geek here), and French Facile.
Yes to French With Nelly! And some of the others you reference. Also, I bought the Bonjour Effect. Great Read!
I am also making myself change my usual daily pet phrases (time for breakfast, who wants a walk, time for bed, who want a carrot/treat, etc.) into French to train me and them!

For Spanish, I recommend Dreaming Spanish and the Mimic Method.

Hello @PatrciaBrooksCpirageCatalyst! For French I would also highly recommend Alice Ayel as well. She has an amazing TH-cam channel and has numerous videos and focuses on Comprehensible Input, just like French Comprehensible Input channel. She was the first channel I came across when I was trying to learn French :)

Thank you for your video and information. It was extremely valuable to me. I am studying for the TCF for french citizenship now. I will take this test in January or February of 2025. I greatly appreciate you sharing the link to the DALF. I am in agreement with you about taking and passing the C1 or C2 DALF to receive the french language diploma. It is imperative to have this french diploma for any expat that will continue their residency journey in France. I am an american expat living in France. My favorite youtube chanel is French with Alexa and I also watch Français avec Nell. In addition, thank you for the book recommendation.😊😊😊😊😊

You are welcome. To have proof of you language level that doesn't expire makes so much sense. I'm not sure how much the price differential is but to not have to stress of another French test to me is priceless. 😀 Bon courage with the TCF!

Every day I spend hours on TH-cam studying languages for free; languages are my thing for many years now. As a result TH-cam bombards me with suggestions of people who learned a foreign language in a month, people with the best methods in the world for learning languages, etc. I started my response to this video yesterday promising myself not to write too much. I quickly wrote way more than I wanted to so I just erased it all. Be patient, work hard, try different methods, books, people, shows, movies, blogs, tips, etc until you find those that you think work for you. ENJOY your process. My sister loves doing 500, 1000, 2,000 piece puzzles. I tell her languages are my puzzles.

Thanks for your reined in response.😀 Love your suggestions, especially trying different methods that speak to you and ensuring you enjoy the process. That makes all the difference. Languages are indeed puzzles! Love this analogy.

Can confirm that learning French in Belgium (and probably Quebec) is much easier. They aren't "defensive" about the language (read: snobs) and will let you speak with them at your level rather than defaulting to English.
Suggestion for this channel - Maybe include a French word or phrase in each of your videos? Teaching others reinforces your knowledge, you know.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. This is interesting. Great idea to help others and reinforce what I'm learning by including french words and phrases in my videos. I'll work to adopt this where it makes sense.

Great video. Thanks. I am at the B1, working on B2 level in French. I like Learning French with Alexa YT channel. Her explanations regarding grammar, as well as how to improve at each of the testing levels are great.

    Hello Patricia,
Thanks for the French learning references! I am on the French learning journey, as well, looking forward to becoming fluent. I think the resources you have shared are wonderful, particularly, due to the accessibility of them. I am familiar with Olly Richards, in fact, I would recommend beginners take a look at the video referencing how the military learn foreign languages at an escalated rate. It's fascinating! All the best to you!
