I went to see Scary Stories to tell in the Dark at theaters a few weeks ago and there was a trailer for a Millennium Actress remaster, and I was so happy to hear this gem in a large theater, as soon as it started playing I immediately recognized that sound and voice as Hirasawa
yes. most of millenium actress ost was gathered from three albums: "Philosopher's Propeller" by susumu hirasawa and "Landscapes" and "Kun Mae on a Calculation" by SYUN (a musique concrète collective consisting of hirasawa, some old p-model members and other friends, though afaik hirasawa worked alone on landscapes and kun mae)
I ran home to the song like Chiyoko did on the horse. I was drunk tho :/

Whhhat ? I didn’t get it
This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard
Beautiful...
Hirasawa is so underrated. Perhaps it is better that way.
I cant even up how he comes up with his genius compositions...
Apparantly he composes stuff from "his dreams".
Legendary composer.
Wait, is this "An Expert Mountain" remixed?

I completely agree with you, Bishomon... maybe it's better like that.
Put 1,25x
Sublime.
The beggining reminded me of Dragostea Din Tei. lol
The beggining of the music sounds like the stage level of Castlevania Belmont's revenge
