“It gave me a space to be myself”
Our Voices of CMC series continues with Piper, a CMC alumnus, who is joined in this interview by her mom, Virginia. Piper joined ComMUSICation in elementary school, and talks about the importance of having a space like CMC as she grew up.
“That was a big turning point in her life,” Virginia shared, as she talked about the need for youth to have positive role models who they can turn to when navigating the challenges of adolescence.
