Every young person deserves access to an inclusive and supportive community that empowers them to imagine possibilities, foster their potential, and transform their world through music. ComMUSICation (CMC) is an intensive youth development music ensemble program inspired by the renowned El Sistema music-for-social- change movement. All programs have the following components: teamwork, youth leadership, family engagement, reflection, skill- building, and community-building. As an organization, we are committed to providing young people an equitable opportunity to experience rigorous community music-making and a safe, caring community where youth can freely express themselves.
