- We are family of 3 with a 2 year old girl we crossed mazyad border post on trip to Salalah from Abu Dhabi, U.A.E dated 23-May-2022 prior to that we had taken online an Oman visa.
Border staff on both UAE and Oman side are efficient and professional. Border is really empty! No cars, no queues since we travelled off season and its weekdays as well! Officers were very friendly and helpful on both sides.
Some tips to remember always keep safe your passport with UAE visa

Some tips to remember always keep safe your passport with UAE visa residence stamp, vehicle orange certificate, vaccination certificate handy. On Oman side, they verified our passports, visa, travel insurance and vehicle insurance. They also check the vehicle thoroughly, so please do not carry any banned items and always follow and respect their rules.

Sarap mag drive pag ganyan kalayo. Miss ko na mag drive ng long drive. Hands off sa hubby mo 19hours of driving. Ganda ng Oman

hi thanks for your comment, to answer your question yes u do require a visa travelling to oman either by road or by air, if you have uae resident visa then u can get a visa on arrival or otherwise you can apply online and they will send you an update immediately
