Eid al-Fitr in China is NOT what you think! Vlog in China

Hi, Friends welcome to @exploringworld by Hamna Saleem. This is my new journey from China to Shandong Province. Muslims around the world take part in prayers for the annual holiday of China 2023 Eid-al-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy Islamic fasting month of Ramadan. The timing of Eid al-Fitr is determined by the sighting of the crescent moon, in accordance with the Muslim lunar calendar. But this time our Eid al Fitr 2023 is not started with Eid prayers or Eid namaz, due to some security arrangements in China. Living life as a foreigner abroad is a really tough job but Alhumdulilah we have one mosque in China, i mean to say in our region. In this video, you will see insha Allah how Muslims spend their lives in China. How much religious freedom in China. Although you will see people from different countries like Bangladesh, India, Pakistan Egypt Afghanistan, Siri Lanka, Africa, Palestine, and Morocco are gatherers to offer the Eid al Fitr prayer in China 2023. The Muslims praised god and called 'Allahu Akbar' which means 'God is the greatest'.

What is Eid al-Fitr?
Eid al-Fitr, (Arabic: “Festival of Breaking Fast”) also spelled ʿĪd al-Fiṭr, also called al-ʿĪd al-Ṣaghīr, Turkish Ramazan Bayramı (“Ramadan Festival”), first of two canonical festivals of Islam. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting, and is celebrated during the first three days of Shawwāl, the 10th month of the Islamic calendar (though the Muslim use of a lunar calendar means that it may fall in any season of the year). As in Islam’s other holy festival, Eid al-Adha, it is distinguished by the performance of communal prayer (ṣalāt) at daybreak on its first day. Eid al-Fitr is a time of official receptions and private visits, when friends greet one another, presents are given, new clothes are worn, and the graves of relatives are visited.
