That neck pu sounds so good that I cried
Yo! That neck pickup is killer! Classic strat bluesy sound. Reminiscent of SRV.
SO TRUE
I agree
Best demo of the player series strat, thanks for uploading

Great demo - actually a REAL demo for a change! I get annoyed by "reviews" where it's 4 minutes of talking and 10 seconds of playing the guitar out of tune. I've been going back and forth between the SSS vs. HSS for a new Player Strat. I Love the amount of crunch you get in the "more gain - bridge PU" section (starting around the 4:50 mark). Can you share what gear (amp/effect) you used? For me, this is the bridge sound I'm looking for (distorted) as well as the clean 4th/5th positions. I have a few guitars with humbuckers in the bridge and was hoping to hear something with a modern edge to it for the single coil in the bridge. Most demos sound like very early Aerosmith, which is not a bad sound, but I am glad this has more versaitlity.
Just copped this very same Polar White SSS. Bought a Sage Green HSH last month. Totally crave them both. Each has it's own particular vibe, sound.
I. Am. In. Strat. Love. Thanks Fender for this series.
Best guitar for the money on the market.
No Talking Now Thats What I Like . Great Sound . 🎸☮️🌟🌟🌟🌟
Great demo, Im in love with the SSS player series, hoping to pick one up with a pau ferro fretboard soon.
Just grabbed tidepool. Love it. Great demo.
Indeed they have very good vintage strat tone. More so than the American standard.
@@macuse2008 I had my local luthier really perfect the fret ends, set it up, and it's been a great guitar. He was really surprised and commented on the vintage sound and the quality level. He said he had already ordered a couple in LOL. I'm not a performer, but I would imagine a slightly more robust input jack and it would be gig worthy for sure.

The middle pickup on these to me is the best part. It's cut through a mix like a knife
Damn that’s a pretty guitar.
I really wish the SSS sage green had a maple neck... I'm saving up for one now.
Invert Scrub ... the HSH version has with maple fretboard...get that and make it sss
İyi bir tanıtım oldu. teşekkürler
Riff at the end was awesome
Can I please ask what the recording setup was? Thanks a lot

Nice vid man. Thanks for that.
This polar white one with the maple fretboard is growing on me... It's either this or the sunburst for me I think, though tidepool and buttercream looks nice too...
The limited edition pink with tortoiseshell pick guard looks great too.
I love the polar white with mint green pickguard!
I have played my squier for many years now. Price wise and soundwise this would be it i guess!
bro. 100% can attest to that. played a Squier HSS "Obey" Strat made in indonesia for about 11+ years. This year decided to pull the trigger on this player series model and i dont regret it at all!!
What’s crazy is bought the player series after comparing it with a used American standard, American pro II, and another used American standard. The one I bought was better than the real thing. I especially love the 42mm but width and the awesome neck pickup. It sounds absolutely like a strat.
Well thanks for the demo of how the A D and G strings sound.
With what microphone do you record your guitar?
A amp
What were the settings on the amp in terms of levels of treble, middle and bass ? Also were the guitar's tone and volume controls set to maximum ?
TheHumbuckerboy looks like volume 5, neck tone 2 and bridge tone 9
Good review, thanx! :)
How are u recording this? Did you mic ur amp?
How feels the neck?
Has a Bell like strat sound
4:50 distorted rock riff sounds great on a strat
have 9s (strings) on it?
Yep 9-42 250L
Maple > Pau Ferro all day and all night
Much agreed.
I dont agree
+1

But if available, Rosewood over both.
Nice but where can I see a great solo by Gilmour or Vai or Satch with this guitar??
What amp you used?
I wished I could love that Fender quack but Im just a humbucker guy. Nice guitar though
never too late to be converted :-D
Well i present you the HSS Strat lol
i cannot decide between this and gibson sg faded
🎶👍🎶🎸🎶
Pot metal frets
Still not loving those pickups.
Set them at 3mm ish (ie low) and they sound great
