Great video! Those pickups are super cool. Loved the code 3 response turned traffic stop. Loved the look of excitement on the kids face at 0:57

Makes me happy knowing it’s not just cranks who enjoy fire responses

2:54 For everybody wondering the Pickups and 2013 Explorer MARKED AS ‘FIRE’ is a ‘SFIO’ Or State Fire Investigation Officer operated by CalFire and are Peace Officers and are armed and actively trained as LEO But is not responded to calls unless it is a 10-99 or Shooting that requires all available units within County or even State to respond.

That is incorrect. The explorers marked fire are bureau of land management fire officers. The unmarked units are more than likely not Calfire. Calfire prevention officers drive marked cars. The only unmarked units are on the arson and explosives unit and there are very few of those.

@@anthonyg13emergencyvideosthe Explorer behind the unmarked pickup trucks is SBCo. Usually, the civilian explorers with markings are admin vehicles, non code vehicles, or take homes.

Very nice. I am wondering about all the unmarked pickups that came in code 3. Investigators?

      Yea. More than likely investigators.

Some sort of LE response. FD doesn’t run red/blue in CA unless investigators such as CalFire. calFire has uniformed police officers that actually can also make traffic stops😊

@@ZeroGamingMods They have uniformed investigators and prevention officers which are peace officers, not police officers. They use police on things like vests because it is a universal term people know and understand. And they are not "supposed" to make traffic stops since their peace officer authority is for enforcement of the fire related crimes. Penal Code 830.2 gives them peace officer authority throughout the state, provided their primary function is the enforcement of laws under 4156 of the Resource Code. 4156 gives the director of CDF peace officer powers and anyone they delegate for the enforcement of resource and forestry violations.
All Cal Fire officers are firefighters first and have to be a captain before they can transition to an investigation role.

I use a canon Vixia HF R800. I am still in the planning to hopefully upgrade camera to give better quality content to everyone & myself
