I bought a loom kit for 2 granddaughters and searching for instructions, I found your tutorial. Your demonstrations are the best! It will give the results I was seeking, particularly the rib stitch and crown decreases. They way you do knit and purls gives a better result than the e wrap.
I have missed you! Thank you for this new pattern. I love the 'clean up' of the brim as well. I used to use this technique but I began to destroy my projects while attempting and was not sure why it became so hit or miss for me. I may try again because it really does make the project looks better, cleaner and more professional. Thanks again!
AWESOME TUTORIAL, thank you, now I have a question. What is the rule regarding length from brim edge to crown for S (toddlers) M (tweens, teens, women) and L (big headed men)? Counting rows does not work for obvious reasons so I would really love to know in inches to avoid the "slouch" look. I want them to fit and the pom not weigh the top to pull down. Thank you so much.
Thank you for this tutorial! When you say this fits a 10 year old is that with the brim folded? I am making hats for my 4 year old and 1 year old and like the look of the brim folded, but trying to figure out how many rounds to do for each hat. Any ideas? Thanks!
For the 10 year old, the brim was not folded. Hard to say how many rounds would be needed for smaller heads. Perhaps around the same number of rounds since there will be a folded brim.
Hello! Great pattern! Please tell me, this hat will be ok for one year baby head? I want it for my 2,5 year and me too - how big loom i have to use and how many rounds i have to do for 2,5y and me? Have a nice day 🙂
I honestly think this would fit on a 1 year old since it is so stretchy, and since you can fold the brim if it covers the eyes. It is OK for adults with small heads. As for the number of rounds, it's hard for me to say exactly.
I THINK YOU ARE AN EXTRAORDINARY TEACHER. I WISH YOU THE BEST AND PLEASE DON’T STOP MAKING VIDEOS. ❤️

Can this pattern be done with Worsted weight 4 On 40 per loom For adults?
Great pattern! Would this be ok for a two year old? Guess maybe decreasing the height/rounds would be a good idea.
Yes, just do fewer rounds.
How large of a loom would I need to make this beanie an adult size?
P. S.
Your tutorials are really great!
It depends on the head, but I'd say between 40 pegs and 52 pegs.
@@hellomsyarn Thank you for your time🌞

Would this fit a year old child?
I would say yes since it is so stretchy.
The Yellow Loom I Have Is 41 Pegs, Goes Right Over My Head On To My Shoulders, Isn't That To Big For An Adults Hat?
A 41 peg loom is often used for adult hats.
