I’ve been trying these for a few weeks but I’ve been very inconsistent. Guys I ride with swear I should Ollie into grinds first. It feels backwards but I guess I’ll see which one I can stick first.
@@robertborden2666 speed is the key. Just keep trying them and they will come to you. And wax the crap out the curb and your trucks. That will help too
I've been working on both of those tricks as well. I can do a boardslide hurricane on a double-sided curb but always exit at the end. I want to be able to turn out of them in the middle of the curb. Thanks for the tips!
Rad man. I'm just starting to get into slappys. My problem I'm finding is here in aus all our curbs are right angles. We have parking blockas that are angles but they start right angled at the ground. Is there anything I should be doing differently on these types of curbs?

Much easier on those curbs with a slant to them . Here in UK pretty much all are 90 degrees. Much harder to slappy

I skate the bottom of a stair set, same problem. You can tick tack (manuel to nose manny) onto it

I tried a taller set up risers and bigger wheels and found it to be harder to slappy. I'm having great success with 50mm wheels and no riser.

I’ve mastered my backside slappy crook…. You def are too direct into curb…45% is as wide as you want…. That’s why your grind is short
