Why do people do that arm flailing kicking air shit? I dont get it.. the point of a mosh pit was to rock out and push eachother around, yea you might get hit or a bloody lip but was from your ass running into somebody.. but all that arm flailing crap just makes you look goofy as hell and like your trying to hit people.. ive been to shows where people fought in the pits but it was the two agreeing to fight for no reason.. it was sick.. ive been to more shows where some little punk kid swinging their arms directs it at some chick and hits her causing a few people to beat the kids ass.. and seen a bunch where some dude gets pissed off because they get shoved while in a moshpit and takes off swinging then gets laid out.. either way i just never understood that whole arm kick dumb shit.. in all my experiences at metal or punk or hardcore shows the people who do that shit ruined the experience for everyone else.. and the shit just randomly started happening and became a whole thing.. didnt used to be like that even at hardcore underground punk shows where there were no rules or security..
"I don't get it" is exactly the problem. People out of the Punk Scene don't get push missing, people out of the techno scene don't get raves or shuffling. Violent Dancing is a thing for over 30 years, at some point I hoped those discussions would just vanish.

It is hardcore, I get what you mean. When someone says they listen to hardcore I think old school Biohazard, Hatebreed, ext..... it's got the hard and heavy punk rock rhythm, the drumming is there, the guitar sound has always sounded crunchy. The vocals varies, it hits different when female vocalists do hardcore because they hit a certain pitch and it's gotta blend well with the instrument play, what it boils down to and what makes hardcore, hardcore are the lyrics.
Would be better if it had a male singer. They sound better and are superior to women. I don’t wanna hear screaming about periods and washing dishes etc.
