(Saying this having just started the video) I heard someone say there's no such thing as a "gay Christian," because it contradicts itself. However, there are Christians who may deal with homosexual temptations. The point was that aligning/identifying with your sin is converse from the Bible, but everyone has an element of sin that they have to deal with and nail to the cross. I.e., struggling and dealing with homosexual temptations isn't sin, but acting on them and identifying with them is sin
I am one of those who struggle with these temptations, lust in general and not just towards one sex over the other, these sins flourished from when I was shown pornography at 4 years old. This took a turn when I decided to give my life to Christ when I was 15 and that was almost 7 years ago now. Praise God for all the help he has given and gave! It is better now, I am learning more and more to let it go and leave it on the hands of the lord. Some days are worse and some are better, but as Paul also said - I am certain that he who started the good work in me will finish upon the day of Jesus Christ, our lord and saviour. I love that you use facts and linguistics to debunk their arguments without being demeaning and treating anyone who says things against the Bible as if they are idiots. Acting as though everyone is making fun of them for misrepresenting the Bible doesn’t do anyone any good, but to show loving respect in the face of correction speaks to your genuineness in your approach to truth.
He’s ultimately devaluing people for having a different sexuality than him, so the idea of being nice is just kind of a dumb argument, man I can politely tell somebody I believe they are inferior because of their skin color, and they don’t deserve the same freedoms as me, but you would come to realize something… How I say something is meaningless, it’s What I’m saying that you should care about… and if you’re gonna argue that people choose their sexuality, then real quick, make yourself like men (or women, if you’re one yourself) Can you do that? No, of course not This is ultimate proof that all you have to do is sound smart and people will listen. His use of linguistics proved nothing. He pointed a word out that was apparently a combination of “bed” and “man” and then Drastically drew the conclusion that this word specifically refers to men who have sex with other men in a bed Then he points to a verse that talks about men giving up their NATURAL attractions, as in, they were giving in to anything, even if it went against their true desires, this does not mean (God doesn’t like man on man action) If you want to show loving respect, the only thing you should type is “gay people deserve all the same respects and freedoms that straight people do.” Otherwise, you’re just politely being hateful and wrong
@@roscowbrown3937Yes, gay people deserve human decency (don't call it respect since respect must be earned it's not inherent) and the rights listed in the bill of rights.

It's hard to show them when they are in darkness...As Jesus says: "But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!" Matthew 6:23. Someone close to me says all we do is hate and it makes my heart ache because no matter what I tell her she builds up a wall. It's going to take Jesus to break through that hardness of her heart.
Thank you for making these videos and tackling tough topics, Isaac. I'm trying to make videos on the faith as well and your courage in calling out false teaching is inspiring.
This is very well said. Thank you. it’s like saying that you naturally want to get whatever you want and if you don’t get it you’re gonna be spoiled. When you’re a Christian and you’re not just gonna say well I still going to get whatever I want you try to change and be grateful.

Please keep making this content, i check on your scripture references and you always pull rightly from the Bible, it sounds so basic but we need this more and more
The argument that arsenokoitai is about pedophilia is silly to me because it assumes Paul went out of his way to not use the word for pedophilia at the time. Pederasty was ancient Greek for men who have sex with young boys or pedophilia. If Paul was talking about pedophilia wouldn't he use the most common Greek word defining it rather than making one up?
Thank you!! I’ve been thinking that same thing - God clearly commands s*x to be for the confines of marriage between a man and a woman. Therefore, condemning homosexual sex.
So good. You kind of remind me of Answers in Genesis when they went back to the original language of the Old Testament and New Testament. God bless you.
Something I find very interesting is that the word "homosexual" does not appear in my afrikaans translation of the bible. Infact, the word "homosexual" does not appear in the afrikaans language at all 😮😮
I almost didn't click on this because of the title, but so glad I did! Great explanation. Very wise of you to title this in a way that it wouldn't be buried. And the title is true....as there is an LGBTQ pastor (or rather, supporter. I don't look upon Bible remixers as pastors) on here implying it is ok with Jesus to live an LGBTQ lifestyle. Sadly we now live in a culture (with the indoctrination of the young) where it's just too hard to reject the impulse of sin....but many don't want to reject God either. Hence the remixing of the Bible....and sayings like, "You Be You," "Love Is Love"... into meaning whatever it is that you desire, no boundaries...God is ok with it. Of course, He isn't. Love the person, hate the sin. That always has been and always will be the word of God.

They are intellectually dishonest in that they are supposed to be Christians and follow what the Bible says. But, one can disagree with the morality principles in the Bible.
@roscowbrown3937 How about that an obvious creation can't create itself? Also that things made up of several different components, ie everything, had to be assembled by an intelligent mind. Many who don't believe in God just don't like the idea of being held accountable for their sinful actions in the end.
@@samuelgrant8512 So, if I understand you correctly… Are you saying that part of the reason why you believe in the Bible, is because you can’t possibly believe that the earth can exist without being created by somebody?
This will probably go unseen...but I think one of the dividing lines is when people like yourself refer to it as the "homosexual lifestyle". Many people that are gay just want a normal life with a partner and possibly adopt children and have a family. There's no "lifestyle" that's so different from yours. I don't know if that's just a way that Christians cope themselves with by believing their dreams for life are so different than theirs.
1:19 It’s interesting how in my language we have a word that literally says “man layers”. It’s also interesting how from my language “man layers” literally translates to “sodomites” (to English). I think that word comes from “Sodom”, city that was destroyed for its wickedness, in Old Testament. I find it interesting, for few reasons.
I absolutely agree, I love how stuff like this can be proved not only biblically but also with just cold hard facts of the universe and creation. Like if your a believer in God and that he created us all you have to do to notice the way things should be is look at genitalia. Yeah that may be a gross thing to say but why do men have a penis… the way a sperm interacts with an egg to create life is proof enough to me that is the way it is supposed to be and it works, for the most part, immaculately. I’m a science nerd and just by knowing the process of reproduction to the cellular level is enough to prove God is behind it.
THREE MAIN ARGUMENTS AGAINST ABRAHAMIC RELIGIONS: 1. Claim to exclusivity: “We are the only truth, everyone else is wrong.” This claim, combined with the fact that there is not a single piece of evidence for supernatural actions or characters in the Bible or the Quran, is a very unreliable mix. The claim that the "only true" God only revealed himself to a small local tribe and that 295,000 years after we humans emerged in evolution doesn't make it any better. 2. Claiming, that the man-made wisdoms and man-made errors in the Bible and in the Quran was inspired or given by a God, is not only wrong, its harmful and dangerous, especially, as those errors treat topics like Astronomy, Biology, Evolution and Homosexuality. This means that reality should adapt to this religion and its errors and not the other way around. 3. The principle of sin and punishment. It is clear that notorious lying, betrayal of a partner, addictions, etc. are harmful in THIS life. But to claim, that after this life you will go to a made-up hell for that is just insane. As a Deist I wish you a lot human love :)
Hey Isaac. I've already commented on one of your videos once but I never got a response from anyone. I currently deal with homosexual desires, and I don't pursue them. I just want an opinion on what a person can really do to deal with them as I've remained celibate for the past several years and I still find it difficult. How do you reconcile 1 Corinthians 7:9 saying "If they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion." with homosexual desire? Doesn't it seem a little unfair?
We all need GOD'S help to abstain from sin whether list or lying or any other sin we can't do it alone when we draw closer to GOD HE changes our heart desires we then love righteousness and hate sin. HISLove transforms and changes our old man. We have to crucify our flesh and its hard but with GOD all things are possible. The more time you spend with GODthe more your desires change focus on building your relationship with GOD tell HIM your problems and HE will help you HE is your FATHER HE knows what you re going through lay your burdens at HIS feet as and HE will give you rest
Prayer helps us to cruicify our flesh so no matter what pray without ceasing and also read GOD'S word. Remain blessed JESUS loves you dearly don't slip away
Logan, while Christ never addressed the issue of homosexuality, and it isn't in The Ten Commandments (as adultery, Idolatry, and lying are...things we seem to totally forgive our politicians for nowadays), Paul certainly seemed to believe it was sinful....of course Paul also believed that everybody who could possibly do so should remain celibate, and that women were (apparently) inferior, and should remain silent in church...things Christ never taught. The old cultural laws/Levitical Law does list this as a sin (as well as eating pork and shellfish, among other things)...but then Christ went against these laws on several occasions (like when He stopped the crowd from stoning the prostitute to death-- something He would never have done if this law had actually come from God). Indeed, Christ at one point refers to these old cultural laws as being invented by men, and NOT coming from God ("teaching as doctrines the commandments of men"). There IS the "sin" of Sodom.....except that The Bible actually states what the chief sin of Sodom was (Ezekiel 16:49). It was the wealthy ignoring the poor and needy. I hope this helped.
@@Dalekzilla that's not the gospel you are spiting lies and heresies JESUS said He has not come to abolish the law but to fufill it. @@Dalekzilla if you looked at the verses above Ezekiel 16:49, you'd see that it actually points out the prostitution in Sodom which basically points out the fact that there were a lot of sexual interactions in Sodom.

I sincerely did not want to be a hypocrite. That determination powered my repentance and I was truly born again. I hope that helps. God bless.

You don't know you're a Christian until you go from making excuses for why this verse or another verse isn't right, too God is right. You'll even find yourself thinking through obvious things that you just ignored before.
Plain and simple, from someone who has researched it and had face to face encounters with it. Homosexuality is a demon. Scripture is not gray in this area. It is black and white. Also, the reason you see so many gay Christians running around is in tune with their intimacy and willingness to be open with God. Demons are tricky, tricky, creatures often times hiding behind the guise of religion.

Awesome vid bro. Keep it up! As a former bi person, I can definitely confirm that it's not something you're born with and it's a choice to act on sinful temptations. While being tempted to be lgbt isn't a sin, acting on the temptations are. Also, them saying these scriptures weren't "added" to The Bible until the 1900's is a lie. The King James Bible was written in 1611, (I personally read NIV, just because it's easier), but yeah, KJV condemns it. And, while not part of The Bible, Dante's Inferno, written in 1321, condemns those who participate in it.
Good video man, I'd just like to chime in and say the verses indicating the expectation God has on His people as to who will not inherit the kingdom is like the 'you must be this tall to ride' sign before a roller-coaster. It's just the standard and if you were to sneak on a roller coaster and cause yourself harm or injury, then the company isn't liable. Say the customer who ignored the sign, because maybe they thought it was mistranslated or that the company should have put thousands of them up throughout the park, wouldn't have a case against the company. This is the reality, we don't have a case against God that will win.
These people should read Matthew 23, where Jesus is anything but tolerant and loving towards the religious leadership of Jerusalem and how much they perverted God's laws.
I've read a lot of comments about Christians who used to be gay, bisexual, etc., but God took those urges away. And praise be to God, it's amazing! But just thought I'd briefly put my story down here as well. I'm bisexual, but I also believe in the traditional Christian view of marriage. I call myself bisexual if it ever comes up, and I am a devoted Christian! (Yes, we exist lol) Just wanted to be an encouragement to any fellow brothers or sisters who feel alone in their struggle, or confused, or anything like that (I've been there, and believe me, I know it's dark and it's hard). Whether you call it same-sex attraction, just being gay, or don't even know what to call it (again, I've been in all 3 positions). Love you all (and so does God, no matter how hard things may seem) and keep fighting the good fight, God is so worth it! ❤
Bro, All I know is that when a gay pastor told me "don't worry, God honors your marriage" Something didn't sit right with me, and I kept feeling something like "woe to those who put their trust in man" every time someone told me "you good, live your life. It took me a LOT time but I got out of the relationship but have to file soon. I am sorry happy to not be living that lifestyle.

Question: I know homosexuality is sin, but LGBTQ+ technically includes aromantic/asexual. What's your thoughts on that? 'Cause it's not like it's immoral to not be attracted to anyone or whatever, but those labels are connected to the sinful labels. It kinda comes across as immoral by association, and probably also 'cause it's relatively uncommon and unknown.
@@Maksie0 That depends on what you mean by being gay/bi/trans, because I believe living a homosexual lifestyle is sinful, but attraction isn't. I believe that those desires are a temptation. I take it you don't share that view, in which case I'm not close to getting it by your standards. Assuming you've researched this and made up your mind, and since this is an area where I'm stubborn, I doubt we'll be in agreement. I thank you for your reply and wish you a blessed day
The bible doesn't talk about it explicitly, but i'll give my own personal opinion. First I would like to mention that Paul talks about those who are eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven in 1 Corinthians chapter 7. He also mentions that for some people, it's better for them to not marry because they will be more concerned on how to please their partner rather than how to please God. I personally don't think there is anything inherently wrong with aromanticism and asexuality, but we also have to ask the question, is this something that someone has always had, or was it caused by some sort of trauma/dysphoria? This can be difficult to pinpoint, but I would say that for most people, there is a natural inclination to be attracted towards the opposite sex, but for some, the attraction is not there. I think the biggest issue I see with aromantic/asexual in the LGBTQ+ community is that it introduces many young children to an idea that may not apply to them. Yes, there will be children who don't have these desires, but what about all of them that are simply confused and just don't know? Of course this isn't just as limited with just asexuality. That being said though, I think (I say think because I myself am not asexual) one would eventually know that marriage is not right for them. Ultimately, this is something that you'd have to talk to bring it to God with. Also, I don't think it's necessarily a sin either because there is by definition no sexual act. I don't think anyone should feel discouraged from feeling asexual/aromantic. Homosexuality is a much bigger problem compared to in my opinion because the bible clearly is against it, and we can clearly understand why homosexuality can be considered a sin. Great question btw.
@@BornR3STLESS Thanks for the thoughtful reply! What denomination are you? I've gone to the same church for forever and lately I've been thinking about different denominations, partly 'cause of a book series called Heroes of the Faith. this “authentic self” thing is such a slippery slope. if i am genetically predisposed to a deep desire to steal, or to lie compulsively, or murder, does that make it ok because i am already “divinely everything” God made me to be…? Christ clearly says, in the original Greek manuscript, to deny ourselves, take up the cross every day and follow him is what it really looks like to desire Jesus. to be Christian is to deny our right to define what good & evil are, and relinquish that right to God - the way it was made to be, just like in the Garden of Eden.
To "deny our right to define what good & evil are, and relinquish that right to God" is what any fascist dictator wishes to hear. Complete obedience regardless of morality. In 1940s Germany you would've been an exemplary citizen.
Leviticus 19:19 says, “Keep my decrees. Do not mate different kinds of animals. Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed. I've always known this as a Christian and it's nice to see channels like this making sure everyone else hears God's Truth.
He’s ultimately devaluing people for having a different sexuality than him, so the idea of being nice is just kind of a dumb argument, man
I can politely tell somebody I believe they are inferior because of their skin color, and they don’t deserve the same freedoms as me, but you would come to realize something… How I say something is meaningless, it’s What I’m saying that you should care about… and if you’re gonna argue that people choose their sexuality, then real quick, make yourself like men (or women, if you’re one yourself) Can you do that? No, of course not
This is ultimate proof that all you have to do is sound smart and people will listen. His use of linguistics proved nothing. He pointed a word out that was apparently a combination of “bed” and “man” and then Drastically drew the conclusion that this word specifically refers to men who have sex with other men in a bed
Then he points to a verse that talks about men giving up their NATURAL attractions, as in, they were giving in to anything, even if it went against their true desires, this does not mean (God doesn’t like man on man action)
If you want to show loving respect, the only thing you should type is “gay people deserve all the same respects and freedoms that straight people do.” Otherwise, you’re just politely being hateful and wrong
@@roscowbrown3937Yes, gay people deserve human decency (don't call it respect since respect must be earned it's not inherent) and the rights listed in the bill of rights.

No more frequent mental breakdowns, or anything like that haha. And depression has left me as well. I now recognize that this original comment I composed a year ago was, and is harmful to myself and others. I do apologize for this.
Anyways, wish me luck yall! Love always wins in the end! Choose love!

Very well spoken sir! Keep up the great biblical knowledge and explanations!
It's hard to show them when they are in darkness...As Jesus says: "But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!" Matthew 6:23. I feel like the Lord put this video on my timeline. I said some stuff over on Twitter on this topic that basically started a riot, and now tons and tons of people are coming at me.
The Bible said this would happen to believers. Stand strong.
May we never grow weary of proclaiming and defending the Gospel. To do this we must be familiar with GODs holy Word.
Thank you for sharing this
Please keep making this content, i check on your scripture references and you always pull rightly from the Bible, it sounds so basic but we need this more and more
This is the truth, thank you for saying it.
If we were divinely everything God wanted us to be, He wouldn't have had to send His Son to save us.
Bingo. We are naturally sinful creatures and needed a Savior, that’s the whole point of the Bible.
Your feelings almost always lead to sin. Well spoken preacherbrother
A "pastor" that says that no one can be converted says a lot about what he believes
Thank you, brother, thank you.
homie deadass went on a whole rant on being pro-conversion therapy under the guise of 'oh its not man changing you because man can't change you.. its god changing you' XD
People will grab at anything when they know they are wrong. And so it goes with sin. Comfortable lies Vs uncomfortable truths.
Everyone is trying to justify their sin because it's easier to be sinful that to be spiritual

Well delivered
"Pastors" who say God is okay with men having sex with men are so intellectually dishonest.
They are intellectually dishonest in that they are supposed to be Christians and follow what the Bible says. But, one can disagree with the morality principles in the Bible.
@vshah1010
Supposed to be, but they don't live it, and they try to use the Bible to justify their sin.
People who believe in God for no other reason than “a book says a thing” are intellectually dishonest
@roscowbrown3937
How about that an obvious creation can't create itself? Also that things made up of several different components, ie everything, had to be assembled by an intelligent mind.
Many who don't believe in God just don't like the idea of being held accountable for their sinful actions in the end.
@@samuelgrant8512 So, if I understand you correctly… Are you saying that part of the reason why you believe in the Bible, is because you can’t possibly believe that the earth can exist without being created by somebody?
Amen Brother! Well said!
Isn’t sexualizing children being a pedo and they call it “maps” companies sexualizing kids and kids don’t know what they are doing?
Yep what they're saying does not change anything.
I hate the whole "maps" idea. I could care less if I offend them, they should all be in prison.
THREE MAIN ARGUMENTS AGAINST ABRAHAMIC RELIGIONS:
1. Claim to exclusivity: “We are the only truth, everyone else is wrong.”
This claim, combined with the fact that there is not a single piece
of evidence for supernatural actions or characters in the Bible or the
Quran, is a very unreliable mix.
The claim that the "only true" God only revealed himself to a small
local tribe and that 295,000 years after we humans emerged in
evolution doesn't make it any better.
2. Claiming, that the man-made wisdoms and man-made errors in the
Bible and in the Quran was inspired or given by a God, is not only
wrong, its harmful and dangerous, especially, as those errors treat
topics like Astronomy, Biology, Evolution and Homosexuality.
This means that reality should adapt to this religion and its errors
and not the other way around.
3. The principle of sin and punishment.
It is clear that notorious lying, betrayal of a partner, addictions, etc.
are harmful in THIS life.
But to claim, that after this life you will go to a made-up hell for that
is just insane.
As a Deist I wish you a lot human love :)
Proverbs 16:18. Pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall.
The other side: It doesn’t say that God condemns homosexuality in the Bible!
Me: He literally glasses an entire state cause people were doing it!
In the hungarian translation, the equvivalent word for homosexuality was alread there in 1590...
He did not condemn the woman because by GOD through HIM grace and mercy would come into the world its brcauseof that grace that we can keep the law knowing that we have already been made righteous by Christ
@@Dalekzilla if you looked at the verses above Ezekiel 16:49, you'd see that it actually points out the prostitution in Sodom which basically points out the fact that there were a lot of sexual interactions in Sodom.

Matthew 7:5

Plain and simple, from someone who has researched it and had face to face encounters with it. Homosexuality is a demon. Scripture is not gray in this area. It is black and white.

Being gay, bi, trans, etc isn't immoral either. You're close to getting it.
Christians still have common core beliefs, but some groups have different interpretations of scripture and different traditions and just different beliefs and viewpoints that I'd like to know more about, and why. For instance (this isn't really a denomination-thing it's more a my-church thing) the general consensus at my church is that you shouldn't kiss until you get married, which I didn't realize wasn't common in Christian circles until I ran across it online. And I researched and found out some people don't believe that speaking in tongues and healings and stuff still exist (I don't know your views on tongues, some people think it's demonic but I promise it's not). Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the [k]remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”
Praise God for your ministry!!
