Great, informational video! Now I understand why my resume is being laughed off…like a 7 year old wrote it in crayon. My issue seems to be that I write too much and try to use every KSA available in it, but the bullets are HUGE! I’ll give your suggestions a try.
Hi. I have been working for the federal govt. for well over 15 years and I'm a GS-7. I have applied for millions of positions and I never get picked up. In fact, I have OCONUS federal service and I'm trying to get those years added to my SCD. I guess the federal govt. don't hire people to update SCDs for some reason. I also completed a military deposit, but for some reason, the federal govt. don't employ anyone to update my records either to reflect. It's so frustrating. I'm messaging you because, you mentioned in this video that you had a FREE spreadsheet we can download. I don't see it. Where is it in the description? I joined, I'm searching and I do not see the spreadsheet to download. Can you send me the link? Thanks.
Technology and competition has made the job hunt so damn complicated, you'd be better off applying these principles to white hat SEO on your own website and be your own boss. You have to do similar techniques, might as well put it towards something that pays off.
Hello Armand, thank you for the great videos. I do have a question I received an involuntary entry level separation from the National guard for not attending basic training within 365 days of my enlistment last year. Does this mean that I have to answer yes to question 12 on my of 306 that I have been fired from a job? I did not answer yes because on the form because I never considered myself employed by military.
Hi Josh, I would Mark "No" to question 12. An entry level separation is usually non-punitive and I do not think it is the same as being "fired". However, I would then use block 16 to explain the situation of your involuntary entry level separation.
@@armandcuret1 hello Armand, I did not include my involuntary entry level separation on the 306. However, I did list it on the SF 85 and still receive my Final job offer. Also, I uploaded a copy of my NGB22 which is my military service record onto the e-QIP. Does this mean I am good and will not get fired later for failing to disclose something?
