How did my Craft Fair go?

- It was a wonderful, cheery and friendly, fun filled 3 days. Lots of people shopping! Definitely gets me in the Christmas spirit. I will share some of my best sellers and not so good sellers. I forgot to mention that all of my Merry Twix-mas items sold out as well as my hot cocoa packs and Muffin Treats. I had a VERY successful experience! Enjoy!

I wish we had craft fairs in the area. I love every item you make. 3 days is a long craft fair.

Thanks for sharing your experience & that is great that you did well. I do know what you mean about some things not selling this time & some actually doing well. I experienced it at my first event this year. Whatever you decide to do, you do such amazing projects & I'm glad I found your channel last year.

TYFS your bargain finds and your recent craft fair experience. People can be fickle, but as you say, that’s just the way it goes. I no longer do fairs, but one thing I can definitely say is, if it’s advertised as a Christmas fair, just do Christmas colors! I learned that as a definite. Another is people love anything that lights up! Congratulations on your sales. You had beautiful makes! Enjoy your day! 💕

It sounds like you had a successful craft fair. I have several Anna Griffin card kits and might do a craft fair next year. How much did you sell your cards for? I will take a look at some of your videos where you created your cards for some ideas.

We must live near each other! I’m in north Arkansas about 25 minutes from Branson. I have a small booth in a flea market here. Not going so well but it’s a fairly new shop here. Maybe we will meet one day!!

This was interesting. I bet people just weren’t expecting baby items, so their minds weren’t on those types of purchases. It looks like the things that were left would be good for a Spring fair. Glad that it went well for you.
I thought the same thing. People were mostly looking for Christmas items.
Glad you ended up doing really well at your craft fair. I knew your cards would sell they always look spectacular when you make them. You could always make things and sell on Etsy or Instagram.

I know what you mean, this year makes 11 years that I've been doing Christmas craft shows. It's really hard to know from year to year what will and what won't sell.
Isn’t that the truth! I kinda went out on a limb with some of my items, and they actually did very well…except the baby items. I knew that was an “iffy” way to go.
Craft fairs are ALOT of work for the return on investment. I did 6 this year and I've decided to cut that in half for 2023 and focus on my retail space I rent in a store. People just don't spend the money at craft shows anymore OR they are not willing to pay for handmade. People also have LESS money in their pockets thanks to inflation...people are really having to think on where they will spend...

I charged $5 for my cards. People were all over them this year! 🥰
If you don't mind, I know every market is different, but how much do you sell your cards for and Christmas only ot mix of birthday, get well, etc. Love all your tuts.
I only sold Christmas cards. I charged $5. I used all Anna Griffin materials for them.🥰
The crochet hotpads actually needed to be in different colors....think earthy colors/traditional colors...those bright colors are not going to coordinate well in most homes
