I found this video cross posted on reddit. This was so cool, thank you for sharing your awesome footage. It's nothing like what I pictured! You can hear the enthusiasm in your voice. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
Some very nice footage. I wish UP would get the new main alignment hooked up and finished... The embankment and deck work at Belmont seems to be coming along very well, you can see the grading for the replacement "traffic circle" on the west side.
Great video! Hope the work continues! … and as a local, I hope to see some grade separation improvements on both Shaw and Herndon ave. Crossing those streets are no fun 😅 lol
Love seeing this. It always looks like it's far form completion until to see how all the little things are combining to make the big thing. Definitely want to see what this will look like in 2026/27 after CP1 and CP2-3 are complete.
Nice video I thought veterans blvd was done very very with bike and walk paths well taking allot of the congestion away from Shaw/99 And still people were complaining….just don’t get it
There will not be any at grade crossings for CAHSR in the central valley (only on the shared track with Caltrain, not sure about LA). My assumption is that they left it open while they finish with the Cesar Chavez Blvd and Tular St under crossing to minimize traffic disruption. Once those are done I'm pretty sure they're just going to make it a dead end because Cesar Chavez Blvd is literally a couple of yards away.
I took the video of downtown fresno and belmont last saturday, i had to stop early that day because of the massive rain storm, and the other piece with the new intrusion barrier and veterans blvd/san joaquin river viaduct was yesterday!
@@mateoTVcarsCA Ahh so Tulare and E Ceaser Chavez was filled on 2/1/25 cool! the main line looks complete and tamped down, I I hope they cut out the shoo fly soon! thanks for the update!
Make it as expensive as possible. Make the right of way go right through the center of town instead of an arc around the perimeter of the town, with frequent busses into town. Then you wonder why we can't get High Speed Rail when we jack up the price so damn high!!! Aarre Peltomaa
I was in a time crunch so I unfortunately couldn't get that, tbh though the trench is very hard to go underneath signal of the drone would completely cut off
The Japanese complained about the cost and time overruns when building the Shinkansen. You don’t see anyone complaining about it now that it’s complete, do you?
Thank you for providing updates to this railway. Always good to find another person interested in this project.
This awesome footage! Thank you for taking the time to do this!
Oh wow, I did not realize how much Golden State Blvd is shifting to the West! Great footage.
Thank you for the documentation!

Thank you, I would love to see more of these drone footage and commentary vids!
It's too bad this was supposed to be completed 4 years ago. California needs new leadership. Such a beautiful state should be thriving.
Gracias Mateo por demostrar el avance de la construcción del ferroviario 👏

Subscribed! Always great to see more (positive) coverage of California HSR and the continued progress on this megaproject.

Fantastic first-time drone video. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for putting this together! Did you post in Reddit?
I was going to, but someone else posted my video!
Wow CAHSR should absolutely use your videos in its marketing you kill it

Very nice
Thank you for this video
This is really cool to see a tad bit of progress. Looks like I will finally be riding cahsr in my 30's :/

Great drone footage, what drone do you use?
I use the DJI mini 4 pro, it works really
well!
@@mateoTVcarsCA I have the same drone. It is the best and most convenient drone I've ever had.
Let's hope the Trump does not cancel it.
I did not realize Mono St. is still going to have grade crossing. That is unfortunate.

Because UP is getting the benefit of the overpasses too bad they can not be forced to pay for some of it.
You skipped 90% of the trench under 180 etc
I was in a time crunch so I unfortunately couldn't get that, tbh though the trench is very hard to go underneath signal of the drone would completely cut off
Can't wait for the project to be scrapped a disgusting waist of money this has been
