😁hey there .. did you figure out the name of that lake first time ? It took me a couple of weeks before I decided to go online to find out it's Lake Verret. But I heard Murret, Burret etc🤣.
@Rhythm911 I worked on a dredge in the 90's and worked with a fella from Morgan City I went with him on our rotations sometimes and his family had a camp on the lake we would stay there and fish and relax

I never miss one of yours or Kieth and Tara's videos. Although I don't always comment, y'all always get a thumbs up from me. I had some very close friends that I used to go visit a month at a time in Louisiana but, unfortunately they have all passed away now and at 80 years old, I don't see me ever making that trip again. As much as my friends, I miss that wonderful Cajun cooking. I still eat a lot of catfish but I have to catch them in the Kroger Store using greenbacks for bait!

That was a limpkin they came in from Florida. We have a invasive apple snail in the local waters and the birds basically followed them down here as it’s one of there main food sources 👍✌️🛥🎣
